New Years-Darkiplier

A.N.Okay here's the Darkiplier fanfic I was planning on writing earlier. Sorry for uploading so late too! Hope you enjoy though!

"Get that thing out of my face."

Currently, you and the egos were watching the countdown to the new year for New Years. Right now though you were blowing a party blower in Dark's face and it seems he's getting really annoyed by it.

Deciding to stop annoying Dark so you could live you looked over at the TV to see how much time was left.

"So, are you excited for New Years?"

Dark glanced at you out of the corner of his eye before going back to staring blankly at the TV, or the wall. You weren't exactly sure what he was staring at.

"No. This party is a waste of my time."

"To be fair, you think everything is a waste of time unless its something you actually like."

"Not everything is waste of my time darling. For example, spending time with you."

Blushing at his comment you looked away, only to look back after hearing him chuckle slightly.

"Oh my god, I didn't think it was actually possible for you to laugh!"

"I can do a lot of things dear. Especially with my mouth~."

After registering what Dark said you looked away quickly to regain your composure. It wasn't fair that Dark was so smooth and suave with the way he talked. You wished there was something that could catch Dark off guard.

Thinking you suddenly thought of an idea to catch Dark off guard for New Years. Looking back towards Dark you realized he was watching the TV.

Quickly checking the countdown to see if you had enough time for your plan you set your plan into action.

"Hey, Dark."

Humming in response Dark looked towards you and raised an eyebrow to show he was listening.

"Have you ever heard of a New Years kiss?"

"I don't believe I have. What is it by chance?"

"It's where right when the countdown hits zero you kiss the person next to you. Would you like to be my New Years kiss?"

"I'm afraid I might have to pass love. This doesn't sound like my kind of thing."

Looking away from hi your eyes landed on Wilford and you suddenly gained another idea to get Dark go along with your plan.

"Well, that's too bad. I guess I'll just have to go to Wilford and kiss him."

Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Dark stiffen up and slowly lose his temper. He was trying to prevent his shell from breaking. Ah ha! Looks like Dark just fell into your trap!

"No! I mean, there's no need to get that candy brained lunatic in this. I can fully kiss you just as good. Even better than him."

"Well, I can't wait Dark."

"Who said you had to wait?"

Confused you glanced at the TV quickly only to realize that you had like one minute left before New Years. Wow, I guess time goes by fast when you're trying to trick a huge edge lord demon to kiss you.

Looking back towards Dark, you were taken off guard when Dark gently put his hands on either side of your head and pulled you towards him.

Slowly both of your lips met right as the countdown reached zero. All around you, everyone else screamed Happy New Year while celebrating, but you were only focused on Dark's kiss.

Before you knew it, it was over which kind of bummed you out. Blinking a few times you realized Dark had gotten up and started walking to his room.

"That was fun and rather enjoyable, (y/n). Although, I'm afraid I have to go now. Since New Years is over and all."

Before Dark completely left the room he turned back to look at you.

"But don't be afraid to come to my room later and continue where we left off."
