Dad: dani I know it's hard but I'm going back to the military

Me: why

Dad: they need me

Me: you said you were done going

Dad: I knew they would call me eventually

Me: where will I stay

Dad: at the Nicholson's and the Hales house

Me: when

Dad: tonight at 10

Me: why tonight

Dad: I have to be at the airport by midnight

Me: your leaving tonight

Dad: yes so get packing

Then I gave him a big hug and then headed to my room to pack. I packed my trophies, clothes, books, and pictures. I was done 5 minutes till 10. I grabbed my bags, suit case, and boxes in to the car.

We got in the car and headed down the road to their house. We got to there house in about 5 minutes.

Me: be safe and keep in touch

Dad: I will and same with you and beat that team okay

Me: I will I love you

Dad: I love you too

Then I grabbed my stuff and headed to the door. When I went inside he drove off.

Mrs. Nicholson: you must be dani

Me: yeah

I was standing in the middle of the foyer of their house. I wasn't used to bigger houses because I come from a small house.

Mrs. Nicholson: Kidss

A very attractive guy came down stairs I seen him around school but I don't know his name then the queen bitch of the school came down stairs all dressed in black.

Mrs. Nicholson: this is Andrew (she pointed to queen bitch) and this is Cody (she pointed to the guy)

Mr. Hale: Cody show her the room she's going to stay in

He grabbed my suit case and boxes unexpectedly

He headed upstairs and I followed. He lead me to the end of the hall.

Cody: this is your room on the right and my room on the left.

He walked in my room and set my suit case and boxes on the bed.

Cody: come down stairs when you are settled in

I nodded my head then he turned around and went to his room. I shut my door and turned on my music and stared to unpack. I started to put my clothes in the dresser drawers then I put some in the walk in closet. While I was hanging up pictures my favorite song came on "red" by Chevelle. I was sort of singing along to it. I unpacked my books and my lap top next. I set it on the desk right next to my bed. Then I put my trophies on top of my dresser. Then I sat down for a few minutes. Then I put my hair up in a messy bun and headed down stairs.

When I got down stairs I guess everyone was waiting for me.

Me. Hale: now we will give you a tour of the house.

The first room he started showing me was the movie room. They had huge screen like the ones in actual movie theaters. Then he showed me the kitchen, then the study room, then the living room, then the bathrooms.

Mrs. Nicholson: yeah that's our house and if you need anything just ask us... Even if it's money or what ever

I just shook my head in agreement

Mr. Hale: did you eat

Me: yes I did

Mr. Hale: oh ok well you can do whatever we are gonna go to bed.

After they went to their room. I headed up to my room. I went in my room closed the door and changed into some shorts and long sleeved shirt.

I had a balcony in my room so I decided to open it I sat on the little chair that sat right outside of the balcony and pulled it closer to the balcony.

I put my headphones in and tried to finish my English paper. I started to type. Then I got thirsty so I went down stairs and grabbed me a monster. They were stocked on monsters and every drink ever made. I grabbed the monster and headed back to my room. I went back in my room and sat in the chair. When I got back in my room I opened the monster and drank some of it and started typing. While I was typing I heard someone at my door which I forgot to close. It was Cody.

Cody: I thought I heard someone.

Me: sorry if I like kept you up

Cody: it's okay I wasn't sleeping

I was silent for a few minutes.

Cody: so what are you doing

Me: just finishing this stupid essay

Cody: yeah those suck

Me: they sure do

Cody was just looking around my room

Cody: so you play soccer

Me: yeah

Cody: aren't you the team captain or something

Me: yeah I'm the team captain

Cody: nice

I shut my laptop and moved the chair then closed and locked the balcony.

Cody: do you want anything to eat

Me: no I'm fine

Cody: ok I'll just leave you alone then

Then when he left I opened the balcony back up and sat on the ledge to think. I thought I wonder how moms doing in the military I wonder if she's even alive I haven't heard from her I almost 2 years. Then I started to think of how my brother got killed when he was in there last month.

I heard Cody's door open. I quickly wiped my tears away. I guess he saw me doing that so he came in.

Cody: what's wrong

Me: nothing

Cody: you sure

Me: yeah I'm sure

Cody: I know what it's like to lose someone

Me: I'm fine thanks for asking tho

Cody: ok if you want to talk or something to do I'm going to watch a movie.

I waited for 10 minutes then I decided to come watch the movie with him.

Cody: so what you want to watch

Me: you pick

Cody picked resident evil.

I sat at the end of the couch and he sat on the other end. I rested my head on my arms. I fell asleep 30 minutes into the movie. Cody grabbed a blanket and covered me with it. He tried to finish watching the movie but he also feel sleep.

Then Andrew came in and threw a pillow and dani scaring me to death. It scared Cody too.
