The next day I woke up at the ass crack of dawn on a weekend. Like no brain you can go back to sleep now. But nope I couldn't even go back to sleep. Fuck me.
So I decided to get up and go grab some food down stairs. When I got down stairs I found out that I wasn't the only one that got up at this ungodly hour.
Cody: what are you doing up so early
Me: couldn't sleep how bout you
Cody: I couldn't sleep either.
I just shook my head acknowledging him.
Cody: I was going to make pancakes do you want some
Me: sure
I decided to sit on the counter and wait awkwardly until he was done.
While I waiting I just sat on the counter playing with my hands and my ring. Well until he came up to me and kissed me on the neck. It made me smile. Then Cody walked back to the stove.
Cody: the pancakes are done
I got off of the counter and sat across from Cody and we ate our pancakes.
Once we finished eating I was about to go back upstairs.
Cody: hey where are you going
Me: I thought I'd go back up to my room
Cody: you don't want to hang out with me
Me: I didn't think you wanted to hang out with me
Cody: why wouldn't I dani?
Me: I don't know
Cody: okay so I don't really know how you would react if I told you this but here it goes.. I really like you dani to an unbelievable extent. Like let me put it in to four simple words.. I love you Dani.
Me: really? Because I love you too
And in that moment in that simple moment at 3 or 4 in the morning.
Cody engulfed me into this really tight but loving hug and then we kissed. It wasn't like our other times we kissed. I know this is so so cheesy and cliche but it felt like there were sparks there was something there between us.
But this isn't like in the movies. Because those standards are so unrealistic. So the way my life goes some thing tries to mess it up.
Then the door bell rang snapping me out my thoughts. Cody and I walked to the door and the person that was there changed my mood completely.
It was Tyler underwood and Dustin.
