Falling for you

I woke up the next morning. I got up I changed into Nike workout leggings and a purple sports bra and my Nike shoes. I threw my hair up and put in my headphones in while heading out.

Cody stopped me.

Cody: can I go on the run with you

Me: I want to be alone I need to clear my mind

Cody: okay just be safe okay

Me: I will

Then I went on my run.

As I stated my run I felt like no one could hurt me. I don't know running just gives me that power. After I ran for and hour or two I stopped to get a coffee and then I walked back to the house.

When I got back to the house I went to my room and took a shower.

I changed into a gray boyfriend crew "pink" sweater with a pair of black spandex. I threw my hair up and put on my glasses.

I went down stairs to make me some hot chocolate. It was actually getting cold but you know I'm wearing shorts, but I wasn't planning on going anywhere today. I sat on the counter waiting for the Keurig to get done and then I saw Cody walk down stairs. I never noticed how attractive Cody was until now. I mean he wasn't all dressed up or anything he was basically wearing what I was wearing. I mean that as lazy clothes like sweatpants.

He was wearing a black pair of sweatpants with a white v neck. His hair was messy. But the guys that are to put together care to much about themselves and Cody he's different from all those other guys.

~ Cody's POV ~
When I walked down stairs I was still wearing my sweatpants but I decided to throw on a shirt before I went down stairs. When I got down stairs I saw Dani. She was so gorgeous. She wasn't wearing anything special she was wearing a sweater with shorts. She was tugging and the sleeves to cover her hands which she does when she's cold or nervous. She wasn't like all other girls which I liked that she doesn't care what she looks like she is different which is why I'm starting to fall for her.

~Dani's POV~

It was kind of awkward when he walked in. The Keurig went off so I poured my hot chocolate in my cup and then Cody started to make his coffee.

Me: when do you want to finish our English project

Cody: I thought the project was happening because she had her baby

Me: oh

Cody: but since we still don't know each other that well we can still do that

Me: I mean if you want to

Cody: it something to do

Me: okay

I grabbed my hot chocolate and sat on the couch turning on the tv.

When Cody was done making his coffee he sat next to me.

I sat at the corner of the couch with my knees up to my chest and holding my hot chocolate.

Cody: what's your story.. Everyone has one I have one.

Me: well I don't want any pity okay

Cody: I understand

Me: so I actually do have a sister everyone thinks I'm an only child but I have a sister she just doesn't want anything to deal with me every since my mom went to the military. I found out a couple months ago that my mom passed away at the military and my dad is spending who knows how long there and everyone gives me shot about having my parents in the military I got bullied about it for awhile. So what your story?

Cody: so a few years ago me and Tyler used to be really close. He would basically live here. His sister like me a lot but I didn't feel the same way. It was her birthday I was throwing a party for her at my house. I told Tyler not to let her drink and when she came over she was drunk. Tyler and I got in a fight over it because his sister holly had a heart condition already. After we verbally fought I walked in the backyard and found holly dead on the pool deck. Ever since then Tyler blames it on me because it was my party.

Me: I'm sorry

Cody: I don't need pity

Me: I'm not going to pity you

Cody: okay

Me: is that why you didn't want me to hang around Tyler

Cody: yes and he will tempt you to do stuff you don't want to do and I don't want you to go through that.

Me: Cody thanks for warning me and I'm sorry I didn't believe you

Cody: it's really okay. You are difficult but I like that about you

I put my hot chocolate on the coffee table. I layed my head on the couch arm rest. Cody grabbed me a blanket.

Cody: want to watch a movie.

Me: yeah

Cody: guardians of the galaxy

Me: yeah

Cody: you like movies like that

Me: love!

Then he sat next to me.

While the commercials were going I turned to talk to Cody.

Me: so um who do you happen to like?

Cody: what

Me: who do you like

Cody: I can't say

Me: come on tell me... Any girl at our school that you are head over heels

Cody: I don't know if she feels the same way

Me: who

Cody: she is in this room

Me: but I'm the only girl in this room.... Wait me.. You like me?

Cody: yeah I do I actually really like you

Me: I happen to like you to

Then Cody kissed me.
