Reckless

Just a little crazy

The following day alex, Melissa and I headed to soccer practice. We had a game tonight. It was good to be back in practice.

We went through the first play. Then we decided to go for a new play.

After we went over our plays we didn't some drills. We did the kicking drill, the passing drill and then we did suicides.

After that practice was over we went home.

When I got home I went upstairs. I was about to close my door until cody stopped me.

Cody: dani

Me: what

Cody: when do you want to start street racing

Me: I have w game tonight.

Cody: how many games left in the season

Me: if we win this one there is one more game but if we lose the season is done

Cody: ok well good luck

I went back into my room to shower and to relax before the game.
It was actually kind of sad that I won't have anyone in the stands cheering me on. Because the way cody acted I doubt he will be there.

It was finally game time. I drove myself to the school. I went in the locker rooms and changed into my uniform.

I was standing in the center field ready to score a point. Then I let my eyes wonder to the bleachers. I saw cody sitting down in the bleachers. Why did he distract me so much. I turned back and saw this guy running towards me. I quickly scored a goal. It was actually shocking but I did it.

The game was almost over it was 2-1. We were winning. We only had a minute left and in that minute the other team scored. It was tied now. We only had one shot.

I yelled "we have to do the raving duck"

This was risky but we had to do it we did all of other plays.

Then while I was in my spot ready to receive the ball. Once it got to me I was about to kick it in the goal right until the other team stole it. I ran after them trying to steal it back. It was a back and forth battle. But the other team scored and they won. And that game ended our soccer season.

Then I was about to grab a water until cody came up behind me.

Cody: you guys did good

Me: we lost

Cody: it was a good game

Me: now they go to state we don't our season is over

Cody: I'm sorry

Me: it's fine. Hey I'll meet you back at the house okay.

I headed into the locker rooms and took a shower.

When I got down I headed back to the house. I threw on a pair of sweats and a black cami. Then I went down stairs to fix me something to eat. While I was doing that Cody came down stairs.

Me: hey.

Cody: damn I was going to scare you

Me: how'd that work

Cody: not so well

Me: good. Hey so how's drew

Cody: she's coming home today

Me: that's good I kinda miss her it's weird being the only girl around.

Cody: Ayee

Me: sorry
