The Heir of Gryffindor

Chapter 18: Wake up!

A/N- Since Alexis is "asleep" we will have two other people telling the story in this chapter. Also here is a picture of our lovely Alexis Red.

~James Potter~

Alexis fell to the floor, lifeless as the bracelet glowed brightly. I tried to get up to get my wand. Tom laughed, "The great Potter child, defeated by the dark lord's son." I grabbed my wand and pointed it at him. "Let her go." I growled. I am not letting him take Alexis from me, hearing her scream that broke my heart. I will never ever let him touch her again. My wand pointed at his head. I wanted to kill him so badly then suddenly a blast hits him from behind. He fell down then looked behind him.

It was his sister and Albus. Their wands pointed at him. "Sister..." Tom frowned, "Why?" Camille went to him, her wand was pointed at his chest, "Our parents were evil and cruel to these people, to the entire wizarding world. I am not our parents' daughter, and I will not be evil like they were." Tom was pushed back away from Alexis. Albus picked up Alexis and I got up and went to them. The students, expect for most of Slytherin house, ran out of the great hall. I took Alexis from Albus and held her close to me.

"Everyone please!" Albus said. "We must protect our school and fight!" Rose got her wand out and joined Albus, so did a lot of people.

"Camille, come with me." I told her, "You are probably the only one that can help Alexis." Camille nodded and we went to the Infirmary. Not only was the nurse in there, but also the Headmaster, my father, Alexis's aunt, Aunt Hermione, and Uncle Ron. My father looked at me then at Alexis. "Put her down on the bed." I put her on the bed, almost instantly my father and my Aunt tried to help.

     Camille went to my Aunt's side and tried to help as well. Alexis's aunt had the Gryffindor necklace in her hands, pacing. I decided to keep guard over the door so Tom could not take her again. I could hear my father talking to Alexis's aunt. "Something's happening. We need that necklace. It may be her only hope."

        I watched as Mr. Potter put the Gryffindor necklace on Alexis. The bracelet glowed brightly as the necklace began to glow. I looked at Mr. Potter as he watched Alexis, upset about this. "I broke my promise." He whispered, then he looked at me, "I promised her mother before she died that I would always protect her...and I failed..." I frowned then looked again at Alexis. I watched her closely then went to her side. I sighed then touched the bracelet, instantly the bracelet broke off of her.

  The Gryffindor necklace shined brightly as James looked up at me. He was amazed as the bracelet was almost thrown off of Alexis. Then I realized what my brother told me was right. She is the Heir of Gryffindor. Now, I have to protect her as well as the people I love. She is the turning point if good or evil will win over this generation of wizards. I watched closely until I turned to see Tom pointing his wand at Albus. Mr. Potter and the rest of the people in the room were frozen in time, expect for Tom, Albus, James and I.
"Now sister," Tom growled, "Let me take Alexis and you can save your 'love'. If you don't I will kill everyone in this room." My eyes widen in fear. I was standing in front of Alexis, protecting her from Tom. "She is not someone we should protect. She is someone that should obey us. Us sister, the children of Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix." I watched in horror as Albus was kneeling in front of me, my brother's wand on his head.

"We can carry on their legacy by being the rulers of the wizarding world." Tom looked at me with his big dark eyes, "Please sister. Join me again and rule by my side." I heard a crack from the bed where Alexis laid. I turned to see what had happened but her body was gone.i looked back at Tom seeing if he did had Alexis but he didn't. That leaves me with one question......

Where did she go?
