As we approach Hogwarts, there was darkness surrounding the castle. Every student from every house looked in fear as we approach the castle. When people got out of the train, we didn't see Hagrid. Instead, we were greeted by two people under hoods.
I could feel something was wrong.
We all were sent to our common rooms to change, except for the first years, of course. I noticed that all the colors. The red and yellow of Gryffindor was gone and replaced with black. I raised an eyebrow and so did Lily and Rose. This wasn't Hogwarts I knew and grew up in. I had to find out what happened but the first thing is fixing the common room. I went to a wall and touched it, suddenly the reds and yellows came back into the light. The fire appeared in the fireplace. The Gryffindors cheered and I smiled at them. We had to prepare for anything.
"Listen up." I stood on a table as I looked at all of them. "Something is very wrong here in Hogwarts. We need to stay on our guard. No one that is not a student of this house is no longer welcome. We can't risk having another house reporting us. " I got murmurs then everyone agreed. "We need to be smart. We don't know what is going on, but we should prepare." As Gryffindor students prepared for the worst before the feast, I looked around the school to see if there were any clues about what happened.
As I looked around, I noticed that all trace of Albus Dumbledore, Snape, Harry Potter, Hermione, and Ron Weasley, were all gone. I walked around more than noticed a certain wizard's portrait was still up. Salzar Slytherin, the house of Slytherin. I frowned. So, a Slytherin is doing this huh? I thought as I kept looking around. The only Slytherin that could have any connection to Salzar is the Riddles, but Tom Hasn't been seen since last year and his sister, Camille, did not return to Hogwarts. So, that leaves two questions, what happened to Hogwarts? why does it involve Slytherin?
An hour later, I went to the great hall to the feast, but when I got in there, I noticed that Slytherin house was sitting close to the teacher's table. The teacher's table didn't have a teacher sitting there. All there was the people in the hoods again sitting there, and another at the headmaster's chair. I looked over at my house and noticed none of them were eating the food. I walked over and sat with my friends, picking up the glass. I looked down and noticed it was green. Slowly, I put down the glass then the figure stood up, going to the podium. I looked over and noticed those eyes, those green eyes that I know all too well. I stood up, about to walk out.
"Where are you going Heir of Gryffindor?" The voice chuckled, "You're about to miss the main event." I look back as the figure pulled his hood back.
It was Tom.
Slowly, Rose, Lily, Hugo, and Albus stood having their wands ready as I had mine ready. Tom laughed then snapped his fingers. Almost the whole house stood up except for the first years, ready to fight. I watched as Tom disappeared then appeared behind me.
"I told you this wasn't over."
