Weeks later, we had a small funeral for my grandmother. It was nice, something that she would like. James was there the whole time, giving me my space when I needed it. Mr. Potter offered to let me stay my last two years living in his house. James and I were moving my stuff into the extra room. I sighed as I opened the box, seeing the pictures on top of my stuff in the box. James came to me and took the pictures, "Let me take those."
"No. It's fine James." I took the pictures in my hands. One picture was of my parents, another was of my grandmother and I. James' thumb make it's way to my cheek, I didn't realize I was crying. I looked up at James, meeting his eyes. "Are you sure, sweetheart?" James whispered, "If you need me, I'll be in my room okay?" I nodded once then he pulled away walking towards the door. I went and closed the door behind him, locking the door. I started to cry quietly, sliding down the door. I feel so alone without my family, I have nothing.

The first day of summer was very relaxing until Scorpius Malfoy showed up.
He showed up in the middle of our little backyard Quittich, which right now is the only thing that is making me happy, and decided to beat me, right in front of Mr. Potter and his family. I got off my broom, sighed then was about to walk inside the house. James got off his broom the same time as Scorpius and went over to him, throwing a punch right in his smirking face. His parents had to pry him off of Scorpius as I hurried inside so I could go into my room. I did not want to face Mr. and Mrs. Potter right now because they know James fought him just because he beat me.
Later I heard a knock on the door, thinking it was James, I told the person that I was fine. "Now, I didn't know that you wanted to be so alone, Alexis." Mr.Potter. I went to the door and opened it.
"Mr. Potter. I'm sorry,I thought it was James. He usually checks on me by now." I said quietly. He sighs, "Can I come in?" I let him into the messy room. My room had drawings of my parents, James, Rose, Lily, Albus, my grandmother, the visions that I keep having. He picked up the memory I saw of my mother hugging Mr. Potter. "Your mother wouldn't want you moping around in your room like this." He spoke, his voice had a hint of a crack in it. "Why don't you come downstairs? Draco is here and wants to see his goddaughter." I looked at him. I didn't think Mr. Malfoy wanted to talk to me again, but right now I feel so sad that I might scare him away.
"How did you do it, Mr. Potter? How did you cope with the deaths of your friends and family?" I whispered, sitting down on my bed. He came, sitting beside me. He took my hand in his and looked at me. "They aren't really gone. They will always be here for you, in here." He touched where his heart is. I smiled a little, the first time in weeks. "Really?" He nodded then gave me a hug.
"Whenever your mother was sad, I would hug her and help her get over her sadness quickly." He smiled a bit at me. "You have something of your mother, you know. You have the braveness she would have. Now let's get down stairs before Malfoy starts yelling at us."
