In the beginning when the Mother Goddess Pallas Athena created the world and the heavens, she also formed the underworld. This hollowed world is where all which lives must someday enter when it dies. Athena filled the underworld with light and a promise of an eternal life after death. The underworld is a massive paradise in which all those who believe in the Mother Goddess and live amongst the righteous may enter.
The Mother Goddess states that one must enter the balance and peace in their lives in order to enter the underworld or if they reach eternal greatness and peace, Pax Atheanos, they may be allowed to live amongst the gods. The Way to get to the under world is known as Pax Underous which is a multi step process which is by Athenian and Tellawowian law to be buried with the Dead in order to find their way to the after life. This shall be instructed in the next chapter.

The underworld is where things that die end up transfering for an eternity. It is separate from the heavens, the home of the Gods. If a mere mortal shows a heroric act or is chosen to become a saint, their soul may rise to the Heavens. However if not they are stuck for eternity. There are two seperate places in the underworld. They are Aegeptae and Osepholous.

The Process of entering the Underworld is complex. Within 70 days of death, the soul using the incantations and spells from the book of the dead will bring their soul to the scale of Mistchief and Mayhem Gods of the Underworld, Husband and Wife. The scale is manned by the demons of the underworld, the offspring of the Rulers of the Underworld. If the Feather of Tranquility Weighs equal to the soul, the Soul will be placed in Osepholous the eternal paradise of the Underworld.

Should the soul weigh more than the Feather of Tranquility, the soul will reach Aegeptae, the eternal damnation of the soul. Aegeptae, though ruled by the Gods of the Underworld are controlled by Throphus Half-Demon Half-Beast that torture souls for eternity. There evil spirit and stench can be felt even in the world of the living near the Gates of the Underworld.

No mortal should ever attempt to enter the Gates of the Underworld unless they wish to disappear from existence for eternity. If this takes place they shall be banished to Sumun a place worse than Aegeptae. There no light shines bright, no sense of feeling, just an empty void saved only for the worse of the worse people.

Sumun should never be thought of being paradise. Should your soul enter Sumun it must stay there for an eternity. This is saved for Criminals and Evil Persons. The Gates of Sumun open once every 13,666,999 years. In which the souls may be weighed once more to seek out whether anyone may leave. This is the law so it shall be written so it shall be done.
