Chapter 23

Alyssa's POV

"HA! HA! HA! You're pathetic! Did you really thought I was going to eat you?" She said laughing her ass out and I must say that ass was an ASS! She winked at me and came closer.

"Look girl I'm here to help you, I'm a demon but a nice one. I came here cause you summoned me. You're gonna get an explanation later but right now let me. Also only you can understand me cause they might be listening" 

Suddenly the hand cuff things broke off and my bruises were healed. She came close to me, and pushed me off the chair and commanded me to stay there until she gives me a sign. I stayed down there and suddenly she dropped a key with the initial A carved on the key. She eyed me and then the key and then the trap door. I understood at once, I grabbed the key and ran towards the trapdoor opened it. I went down and almost forgot that there were stairs and almost hit my head and stumbled down. 

I was panting and light headed. When I finally calmed down a little I felt crawling on the skin. I looked down to see insects and creepy crawlies  crawling on me. I quickly stood up and shaked them off but it wasn't any help. Suddenly the room turned black and I couldn't see anything. 

Aly! It's me Ash Listen very carefully. You have to collect 6 keys with your initials on them. One key is with you collect 5 more and also you can summon demons and angels. So do not worry you're completely safe

Umm Ash where are you? What do you mean? Ash ash? I swear that girl's gonna drive me crazy. 

The lights still aren't back tho... Is there any demon or angel who can help me out?? 

Suddenly a bright light glowed and a cute angel.....SCARLET!! 

"Oh My God!! AHH Scarlet I thought you didn't like me anymore and and and......" I told her actually almost screamed those words. 

"Aly calm down. I'm back and gonna help you out!" She said excitedly giving me a hug. 

Let's go! I exclaimed in my thoughts. I was so happy. I got in contact with my friend and my angel is back! This is great seems like I can do anything with Scarlet on my side. 

We explored from the top right as it was nearest and to my surprise there it was the second key with my initial L on it. I quickly rushed to get it and I was astonished to see no traps were laid. 

"Yay!" Scarlet exclaimed with me. 

"4 more to go" I said to Scarlet. 

We kept on walking on the silent path. There it was another one with Y on it again. I took it and kept on walking. Because of Scarlet my path was so clear and bright. I trust her like a sister. I couldn't wait to get out of this mad house and meet all of my friends. But something seemed wrong. Somewhere deep inside of my heart I felt like an evil power was with me but the comforting light of scarlet made me forget that and just like that I found the  Key with S carved on it.

"2 more to go"

Excitement raised inside of me as the thoughts of the outside world flooded my mind. The greenery. The playfulness of the nature. Just the general idea made me smile. While we were on this hunt I noticed that Scarlet was very happy. I kept on teasing her with Oliver, her crush's name and she blushed so hard that it looked like a tomato. Just like that we found the second to last key with S carved on it.

 The excitement raising inside me almost made me dance with happiness. Suddenly Scarlet began humming this weird tune. When I asked her which song that was she would tell me that its Oliver's fave tune and that there were no lyrics to it. "1 more" I thought to myself. Just one more key after that all the Happiness would be mine. All the things I said would come true. 

Unexpectedly the tune which Scarlet was humming became eerie almost like a death chant. Now I was a little creeped out. The light which guided me my path left me in darkness. The comforting warmness turned to creepy coldness. Goosebumps appeared on my body. 

Suddenly I felt like I couldn't breathe anymore. Like something was choking me. I stopped walking and fell to the ground. It became more and more harder for me to breathe. I was panting heavily, fighting to stay alive while Scarlet showed no emotion whatsoever instead her face had a creepy smile on it. My vision began to get blurry due to the amount of oxygen that I was intaking. Her humming stopped but in my ears the tune kept ringing like an annoying song. Suddenly I heard a laughing. It was Scarlet! She was laughing. 

"W-Why?" I murmured. 

"Why cause I was ordered to and I can't believe you fell for it. You thought that it was real? A fool like you who trusts everyone deserves to die for their foolishness. All the lies that I told you, all the false promises, you trusted all of that? Wow you really are Pathetic! I don't even get why Urséy tried to save you! Maybe she felt pitiful for a brat like you" She laughed heartily as I struggled even more. 

He voice was unclear and was cutting off. 

"All your hopes and dreams are just lies, All that you were seeing till now was a show for others to watch and laugh!" Her voice becoming unclear every minute. 

"NO ONE WOULD CARE EVEN IF YOU DIE! CAUSE YOU WERE JUST A SIDE CHARACTER MEANT FOR DYING, A LOSER!" She announced and at that moment all the things that I went through all the memories that I spent with my friends faded as I could see nothing but black. 

Narrator's POV

Tears were rolling down Alyssas's face. As she slowly died and faded....

May You go to Heaven! Please could we keep a minute of silence for the death of 

Alyssa Roberts

An Honest friend.

 A brave and smart girl who figured out what to do in many situations

. Although very naive in some situations. 

May her soul Rest In Peace......
