Ashlyn's POV
"Oh right! I forgot to tell you my name, I'm sometimes very forgetful. It's Zaire"
That's such a cool name. I thought in my head and then I realized that Zaire could read my mind and I blushed, literally glowing red.
Zaire chuckled.
"I have a question!" I said to him, "Is there any way I could talk to my friend any of them?" I asked curiously
"Yes, in fact there is way but before that do me a favor" He said and I could feel the grinning.
"What?"
"Could you, ya know perhaps get me outta this tank?" He said sassy af
"Don't be too sassy now otherwise you could just stay in there" I teased.
"Don't forget I'm the only person who could get you outta this place" He teased back
"And I'm the only one who can help out of this tank?" I snapped teasingly.
"Okay, okay you win but please help me out" He said giving a warm smile. His smile's so heart warming, melting my heart away. I noticed for the first time Zaire blush, even when he blushed he looked cute.
"Ugghh could you stop that!" He demanded still blushing.
"Stop what?" I chuckled
"You're so annoying" He said annoyed.
"Anyywayy what's the plan to get you outta this bad boy?" I said tapping the tank.
"Wait let me transfer that to you" He said and I couldn't talk to him for a solid 2 minute and let me tell you, 2 minutes is a whole lotta time when you're impatient.
Suddenly I had the whole plan fixed in my mind so as to what I must do. I took a little bit of the powder that for some reason was on my hand and blowed it in the direction of this huge control panel with a lotta buttons. And I saw a huge obstacle course for me to pass through. The lasers of death scared me.
"Listen very carefully now you'll have powers of a gymnast and spy in short great skills"
"Cool"
"Cool yes but I won't be there to guide you, when you get to the end , you have to hack into the system. I have already formatted everything in you so don't worry you'll be safe........I think"
"Oh no no, you don't say I think you say I know"
"Go now!"
I ran and somersaulted, jumped, lunged into the air before getting to my destination. As soon as I reached I saw a red box named Do Not Touch!
"You know I'm gonna touch dat shit when it says not to touch it!" I chuckled to myself. I opened the box and saw wires a lot of them. Just think as to how this small of a box is able to keep all the wires inside is making my head hurt. Like the control panel of this room was huge like huge. No more talking I made a note to myself.
I just began to cut wires and join them by myself and to be honest I have no idea as to what I'm doing but I'm proud of myself. After 5 minutes of this something gave out a small beep. All of the light went out.
Did I do something? Shit what if something happens to Zaire, he's my only way out!!! Fuck I must fix this. Suddenly the lights went out!!
Huh I don't get it why did the lights turn off? I thought to myself.
"Hey!" A voice called me and I felt a sudden warm hug from behind, I punched the whoever the person behind me was in the abdomens and kicked in the shins. "Ow"
The lights are back!!! I exclaimed in my mind. When I looked down it was Zaire. I was full of wrath, I wanted to punch him again but this time on his stupid face for doing this stupid ass prank! I gave him death glare. He was still on the ground whimpering in pain.
"Oh c'mon! Just stand up already!" I ordered
"Ughhh"
I rolled my eyes at his acting. And yes I'm sure his acting cause I didn't even hit him that hard.
"Kay you got me, I was acting" He said and stood up
"Okay look! You pro-
"Promised you that you can talk to your friend" He finished my sentence
"Yeahh..!" I nodded
"hmm but which friend?"
"Kate!"
"Hmm..." He said and closed his eyes. "Oh no!! I see Kate and she's in trouble" He said with a worried and serious expression on his face.
Oh no...What might've happened to her...I'm scared!
"We can help her! I have the perfect thing but it would use a lot of power and you'd only be able to help her."
"Ok..." He told me what he's gonna do and how...
"I got this!!" I said excitedly
Fast Forward till the end of the call...
My heart pounded in happiness and weirdness trying to get out of my chest. Suddenly Zaire collapsed on my lap. I tried to wake him up but....
I let him lay there... He's probably the nicest guy I've met and I literally met him in a lab outa nowhere. I laughed in myself...
