"So....... Now lets see the numbers.." Aly said looking at the screen of her phone.
"Okay......hmm..guys I don't know if it'll work but let's give this a try, I have 3 numbers here" Aly said.. "1397, 1497 and 8200 so Ash, c'mon" she concluded.
"Yeah sure" I replied and we all including Kate walked towards the door lock.
"If this doesn't work then I don't know what will" Aly said frowning a little and looking at me and Kate.
"Oh don't worry I'm sure this will work........ Hopefully " Kate said.
" Me too" I replied to her smiling...... Shining a little ray of sunshine and hope.
"Okay then Ash... First number 1397" Aly said and I inserted those numbers and with my hope a little gone "Guys no luck" I said
"no problem here's the other number... 1497"
"Okay" I said turning towards the lock and gave a little sigh. I put those numbers In and guess what? nope.
"Guys still no luck 🍀" I said
"Well there's still one more number 8200 let's all hope this works" Aly said and we all just.... Well we all were standing quietly.
I put the number very slowly... both of them looking at me as if I was going to free the god or Something.
So I put the numbers in with every single bit of hope left in me and was disappointed as quickly as I had put that in.
"Guys no luck at all" I said now seriously wanting to cry but I kept myself as strong as possible. "You've got to be kidding me.... You've got to be kidding us." Aly said now even she was really sad and disappointed. We all wanted to cry but kept ourselves as quiet and strong as possible. And wow it was so hard... I guess when I say this I mean it for all of us... Kate would probably think it's her fault but it's not.... And neither is this Aly's fault and I knew it very well.
Kate's POV
It's.... Non of our fault and even I know it... But I just wish that.. That I hadn't been such an assailed and urged everyone to go through that door in the first place.
Now I really wanted to cry... I couldn't handle it anymore... I ain't as brave as Aly and Ash......
As I thought that a little tear drop 💧 rolling down my cheek almost about to hit the floor I looked in the mirror and noticed that it wasn't reflecting any of the numbers that were drawn or written on the walls of the room.
I wiped the tear that was on my cheek and stood up.
"Huh??... What happened Kate?" Aly asked. Now both Aly and Ash standing with me. "Guys did u noticed that the mirror isn't reflecting any numbers which are written on the walls" I said now approaching the mirror slowly.
"Huh what are u talking about... Ofcourse the mirr-"
Ash stopped in between and looking astonished 😲 and both Impressed she said, 'Wow Kate aren't you a detective, and here I say that I wanna be a Spy and didn't even check around to explore " Ash says jokingly and lightening everyone's mood.
" Yeah... That's correct... I mean about Kate n' all" Aly says now smiling.
I reached the mirror and saw that it didn't reflect any numbers except one it was pretty small but I managed to read it and saw the numbers
4980. And then called out to Ash and Aly who were having a little conversation about I actually don't know that... "Guys I found the answer".
Alyssa's POV
"Oh I get now why the mirror isn't reflecting because the mirror-
"Always shows the truth.. Of course wow Aly aren't you smart or should I say Aly the Smarty pants 😂."
Ash completed my sentence and wow thanks for giving me a new name Ash it's Hilarious... I literally rolled my eyes.
Then we heard Kate scream to us that she found the answer.. Me and Ash looked at each other, very proud of our bestie. She really made us proud by finding the answer. We were as happy as we could possibly be.
"Awesome" Both me and Ash replied to her. She as in Kate came to us and we all walked to the lock our hopes as high as they could possibly be. And this time the honour to I insert the number went to Kate (obviously)
And she inserted the numbers 4-9-8-0 and the keypad showed a green light and we all were soo happy it was probably not even possible to put it into words. We all group hugged and did our special handshake.
And the suddenly all of our happiness drained in sorrow as we heard a heavy knock on the door and the to be honest it wasn't even a knock it was like someone... Or something was trying to break open the door. And wow for the first time we all thought the same thing......
"I WISH WE HAD NEVER FOUND OUT THE ANSWER"
We all were thinking only that one thing...... And our horror.... Of that... Inhuman thing to break open the door came into reality... The thing... Was...... Non other than........
"KATE'S BOYFRIEND???!! "
