Me and Shawn have been talking about getting a dog ever since i gave birth. We thought it would be nice for Lei to grow up with a dog. We were going to Aunt Safia's tomorrow, because her dog just gave birth to 5 husky puppies.
"Guess what we are doing tomorrow Lei!" I rocked in the chair, talking to her in a baby voice. Shawn was sitting on the floor in front of us. "We're getting a doggy!" She smiled. "Yeah. Thats right, we are getting a puppy! Are you excited?" I asked her.
She reached up and gurgled. I giggled and Shawn chuckled. "Are we naming him Theo?" I asked. Shawn nodded. "Cute." I said. "We need to go shopping." I told Shawn. "I know. Can i go to the pet store?" Shawn asked. "Of course."
"I will go to tesco." I said. "Can i take Lei?" I asked, standing up and passing her to Shawn. "Yeah sure. I will call you to decided dog beds and stuff." Shawn said. I got some clothes put for Lei. I took out a short sleeved onesie that says "Keep walking, my daddy's taken." In gold. I got some leggings aswell.
I took Lei, changed her nappy and put the clothes on her. "I love that onesie!" Shawn said, laughing. I giggled and agreed with him. "Can we go swimming soon?" I asked Shawn. "Yeah." Shawn said. "I will buy her a costume when im at Tesco." I told him. "Oh wait. We have to wait six months until we can go to a public pool." I said.
"We have on in the backyard." Shawn told me. "What?!" I exclaimed. "Yeah. Look." He lead me downstairs and out the back door, with Lei in my arms. There was a pool exclosed in a glass building. "Oh my god! Why have i never been out here?!" I asked. "I dont know." Shawn laughed. I was wearing a black crop top and high waisted jeans. I put Lei in her pram.

I put on a big grey zoodie. "Why do you always cover your stomach?" Shawn asked, as I got my bag. "I put on so much weight after the pregnancy, I dont like my body anymore." I told him, whilst putting my purse, phone and keys into my bag. "You're beautiful Kay." He said. "Thank you." I smiled. I slipped my converse on. "Do you want anything from the shop?" I asked. "No, i think im good." Shawn said, smiling. "Okay."
The shop is just down the road, so i walked and Shawn drove to the shop. Lei started to cry, when we were going to the fruit section. I took a blanket and a stuffed animal out of the basket, under the pram. I put the blanket on Lei and gave her the bear. I carried on walking and bought all the things we need. I called Shawn.
Shawn- Hi.
Me- hello. What have you got so far?
Shawn- Treats, food, a collar, a leash, bowls, What colour bed do you want?
Me- Blue or grey. I dont mind.
Shawn- okay cool.
Me- Im have a pink spotty swimsuit for Lei.
Shawn- Okay nice. I have to go pay, i will see you at home. Bye
