Visiting Kim

(I just worked out that Lei is 38 days old xx)

I'm drained by the time we get back home, thankfully its Saturday so we don't have to go to school tomorrow. It's 1 am and we both have no idea why we stayed up. Lei woke up at 11, wanting food and then straight after eating, she fell asleep in her pram. 

We both head up stairs and I put Lei in her crib. I kissed her good night an then walked into our room. I grabbed one of Shawn's tops and walked into the bathroom. I saw Shawn brushing his teeth and gagged. I can't listen or watch people brushing their teeth without feeling sick.

"You okay babe?" Shawn asked, after spitting toothpaste into the sink. I nodded and stripped out of my clothes. I put on my grey Calvin Klein bralette and underwear.

I put Shawn's top on top of that and Shawn just stripped into is underwear and then carried me into the bedroom. He laid me in bed and the got in his side. I cuddled up to him and slowly fell to sleep. 

The next morning...

I was woken up by my phone beeping. I picked it up, after rubbing my eyes. I read the email that just came through. It said it was an email from Australia,

"Hello Miss Craavalho, we are sorry for the late reply. We have read the novel that you sent us and we want to publish it. We are going to send a list of recommendations of thing about the book we want you to change. We hope you accept our offer. 

Head of publishing, Sarah Fisher." 

I screamed. "What? Whats wrong?"  Shawn asked, sitting up and turning on the lanp. "They saod yes!!" I squeled. "What? Who?" He asked. "The publishers!!" I told him.

"Oh my god! Kayla! I'm so proud of you!" He exclaimed. He hugged me ans kissed me gently. Lei woke up and I jumped up and ran to her room, excitedly. Shawn ran after me. He picked me up, from the back, and spun me around. I giggled. "Lei!! Mummy's book is going to be published!!" I said, bending over her cot. 

She smiled and clapped. Me and shawn laughed. I picked her up and she puked down my back. "Uurr Lei!" I whined. Shawn grabbed a muslin towel and wiped my back. I gave Lei to Shawn. I stripped out of my top and threw it in the washing basket. Shawn gave Lei back and I pulled down one of the cups on my bra. Lei ate and then I burped her. 

Shawn took Lei and sat on our bed cuddling her. I snapped a pic before getting into the shower. I washed me hair and body. I got out and wrapped a towel around me. As I was brushing my hair, I called out to Shawn. "Babe?" I shouted. "Yes hun?" 

"I might take Lei and visit Kim today. Is that alright?" I asked. "Of course, say hi for me!" He called. "I will!"

I put on black jeans, a black top and my 'pink ladies' jacket. And I dressed Lei in a onesie and a cute head band thingy.

Later....

I knocked on the door of Kim's house. I adjusted my boba wrap and started bouncing to comfort Lei. Kim opened the door. "Kayla! Oh my god!" She pulled me into the house. I giggled and hugged Kim. We walked into the living room and sat on the sofa. I took Lei put of the boba wrap and laid her on my lap.

"How are you?" I asked Kim, looking up from Lei. "I'm okay. The morning sickness isn't great but its all worth it, especially if I get a beautiful kid like Lei." She said, tickling Lei's cheek with her finger. I smiled. "You and Shawn are gorgeous, I'm not surprised that you created this pretty little thing." Kim said. 

"So are you!" I told her. "But Jack isn't!!" Kim joked. We laughed loudly. I told Kim all about the publishers, after we went to lunch and then i had to take Lei home. She wasnt sleeping in her pram so i was hoping that she would fall to sleep in her cot.
