The Kiss

---3 weeks later; In Assembly---

"Okay," Mr Coops spoke up. "There has been some rumors, on social media, about a student and teacher,"

I had not gone to school for 2-3 weeks, due to the rumors about Me and Shawn having a baby. My mother understands and agrees with me.

Shawn had tried to persuade me, but I refused. He now brings me all my work to my house.

This was my first day back.

"I want you to know that this is a cyber bulling, to the student and teacher. Now this student has not been on school for a few weeks. I know these rumors will die down soon but they need to die now!" He raised his voice in the last sentence.

After that assembly, the rumors stopped. I guess people don't want to bully the hottie.

---Lunch---

Shawn sat at his desk. His head was resting on his hand. 2 fingers were pressed next to his eye. I sat at a desk, Shawn was marking papers.

I started crying quietly. A small cry escaped my lips. Shawn's head snapped up. "Hey, why you crying?" Shawn asked, standing up and walking towards me.

Our desks have 3 seats. Shawn perched on the edge of the desk. "Why you crying cutie?" He whispered, leaning closer to me.

"The rumors, The bulling, it's really, I don't know, confusing." I choked. Shawn stood up and pulled back the chair next to me and sat down.

"C-can I, can you," Shawn sighed. "Sit on my lap Kay"

"What?" I looked up and sniffled.

"Kay, come on" He patted his lap. I clambered on.

I buried my face into his chest and cried. He rubbed my back and wrapped me in his arms. It felt good.

"Kayla?"

"Yes?"

"Look at me," I looked up. "Do you have feelings for me?" He asked.

I sat stunned for a few seconds. "I err I um y-yes" I said, blushing. "Good" He kissed me softly. I was shocked but kissed back after a few seconds.

"The bell will ring soon. You look pale, are you okay?" He asked.

"No!" I slapped my hand over my mouth and gagged. "Okay come on" He picked me up and walked to his desk.

He got the bin and put it in front of me. I puked in it. "I'm sorry about the abortion thing" He said

"It's okay," I smiled. "Shawn?"

"Yes?"

"Can you come with me?" I asked.

"To the store?" He asked.

"Yes"

"Of course I will, you need to go home, I will come to your house with 3 different tests" He told me. "Okay" I replied.

---After School; At Home---

I heard a knock at the door. I got up from the couch after pausing Gilmore Girls. I opened the door, to reveal a cute Shawn. He was wearing a white tee and grey sweatpants. He has a Tesco bag in his hand.

"How you feeling?" He asked walking in. "Scared" I replied.

He smiled with sympathy written all over his face. I took the bad and walked upstairs. "KAY! IM GOING TO STAY DOWN HERE! CALL ME IF YOU NEED ANYTHING!" He called up the stairs. "Okay" I shouted.

I took the tests and called Shawn to come up. We sat on his bed. "Can I ask you something?" I asked. "Yeah of course"

"If I'm pregnant, can can you can you be the father figure?" I asked "You were so good with Ava and I don't know, I'm scared my parents will be angry" We still haven't told them about wht happened. "Yes, I will do anything for you!"

"Thank yo-" The alarm cut me off. "I cant do it"

Shawn stood up. He walked into the bathroom and picked up the tests. His face softened more, if that was even possible. He looked up at me. His head nodded slightly.

I closed my eyes as a tear slid down my cheek.
