Mr Mendes

Why?!

Me, Ricky and Alex agreed to meet each other under the tree, outside school,  after last period to 'study'.

The bell rings and everyone rushes out of class. I make my way over to the tree singing to my self. I was so distracted with my music I wasn't looking where I was going.

I suddenly bumped into someone's chest and fell to the ground with a thump. "Oh my god I am so sorry" I heard a familiar voice say. I looked up to see Mr Mendes. "No I am sorry" I say as I tuck a piece of hair behind my ear. "Bye" I say as walk away blushing.

I get to the tree and sit down. "Hey" I muttered. "Oohh is someone blushing?" Ricky says wiggling his eyebrows. "What er no I mean maybe" I stuttered blushing more. "We saw your little encounter with 'Mr Sex God'" Alex laughs. "I heard that!" We hear a voice yell. We all turn around to see Mr Mendes leaning against a tree. We all blush and get up "Sorry! We will just go now!" Alex yells back. We then run to the car park.

Grey clouds started floating in the sky. Ricky and Alex decided to drive home. "Are you sure you don't want a ride?" Alex asked getting into the car. "Yeah I'm fine!" I say. (A/N at lunch she took her mini home and ricky brought his jeep)

I live 15 minutes away from school, I had only been walking for 5 when the rain suddenly poured down. I get soaked. Out of nowhere a car rushed past and splashed a massive puddle all over me. I froze and just stayed there about to cry.

The black car stopped and reversed. It stopped rigt next to me and the window rolled down, to reveal Mr Mendes. "Oh Kayla, I am so sorry!" He said. "Oh it's fine" I said with a tear rolling down my cheek. "Oh my god! Kayla get in the car!" He said. "No no its fine." I replied. He just raised his eyebrows. "Finee" I said and hopped in the car.

He started up the car and began to drive. "Where do you li-" he Cuts him self off. "Hey hey hey, are you crying" he said. "Er yes, but I'm fine, just a little cold." I said wiping the tears. Mr Mendes stopped the car and grabbed a tartan blanket from the back seats. He handed it to me and I wrapped it round my shoulders.

"I-i live,I live at 21 Romans close." I said shaking. "Oh I just moved into 20 Romans close!" He said smiling. "YAY! A teacher next door!" I sarcasticly said. Mr Mendes chuckled.

He pulled into his driveway and I was about to hop out the car, when Mr Mendes opened the door. He helped me out. "Thanks Mr Mendes!" I say before walking into my house.

"Hi Sweetie, How was school?" My Mom called. "Fi-wait I thought you were out all day?" I questioned. "Oh yeah, they let me come home early." She said. "Oh ok" I said shrugging. I started to go upstairs. "Wait!" My mom called. "Yes?" I asked. "The new neighbour is coming for dinner today!"
