'Connie!!' The Doctor screamed looking for a girl with medium height and dark brown hair..(just guessing the appearance)

He was horrified to see Connie being held by two Cybermen looking devastated.

'Doctor! I'm fine..don't worry! I'm okay!'
She tried to say trying to get out of the Cybermen' s tight grasp.

The Doctor looked around the dim, dark room filled with the stench of burnt metal and surrounded by piles and piles of rusting metal.

They were in a dying spaceship where they had been forced to fix it but it was already too broken to fix.

But still the Cybermen couldn't take a no so they were trying to get out of the hazardous room without getting killed by the Cybermen.

He was trying to think of a plan but what..?

Then he realised. He quickly pulled out his sonic screwdriver but it was too late..

Connie was dead.

Whilst he looked around the room trying to get a way out for him and Connie.

He barely heard the sound of a laser hitting Connie and the thud that came after.
He noticed her expression of fear and sadness at her face.

Her body still as a rock. Not moving.

All he wanted to do was scream and go to Connie wanting to tell her the three words he always wanted to say...

'I love you..'

But he couldn't and in his pain also the fact that he was all alone once again.

He used his sonic screwdriver making the TARDIS appear and in his final act, he picked up Connie pushing the Cybermen away from her.

Afterwards activating the self-destruct button next to the Cybermen using the sonic screwdriver. The warning sound of the alarm wailed in the room.

The Cybermen acted quickly standing up and turning to them with a blank look.

They walked at The Doctor at their fastest speed, wanting to kill the striped suited man holding a girl in his arms.

The Doctor quickly ran away not noticing the Cybermen trying to kill him with their metal hands.

He ran fast than he ever did before and went into the TARDIS, leaving the wretched place and saw it explode. Its pieces high up into the air or turned into ash.

He cradled Connie close to his chest, his tears holding no longer.

He felt utter darkness and fury.

So much fury at the Cybermen. He wanted to do so much more..so much..but for the sake of Connie's safety, he couldn't.

The Doctor gently placed her on the floor of the TARDIS, thinking about all the memories between them.

He covered her with his pinstripe jacket and uttered the words he always wanted to say.

But couldn't since he was scared she could never have feeling for him like he has for her.

'Connie, I love you. I've loved you and I've never brought it up to say it..and I wish now that I said it.

Everyday we could have had..and I've would have told you this everyday and loved you every single minute of it.

Why didn't I tell you...?

Even if you didn't love me..I would have been happy on what time we would have had together.

I'm a fool for letting this slip through my fingers that would have been the greatest moments of my life.'

The Doctor told his love of his life..his tears falling on her sullen face.

Then he heard it..the first sign of hope, at first he was frightened and scared. But then he heard it again.

A single whisper..

Do you really love me.?'
Connie said slowing sitting up and looking at the Doctor's eyes.

Brown eyes blending with dark brown ones..all the pain and shock evident in The Doctor's and curiosity and love in Connie's..

'How..did this happen.?'
The Doctor whispered feeling the urge to kiss her.

Connie smiling at the Doctor with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

'Well, Cybermen don't know of what acting is..do they..?

She replied back still smiling at the Doctor whilst he snapped out of his trance.

'At the same time, they shot the laser at me. I quickly fell to the floor, faking my death..'
Connie sighed standing up.

'Doctor..is it really true..? That you loved me..?'
She looked at him with her eyes showing anxiety and a need for the truth.

'Yes.' The Doctor kissed her slowly then passionately showing the true extent of his words.

The couple kissed like their lives depended at it..giving each other the love they both needed.
