"Nako, okay lang po. Naiintindihan ko naman 'yung plano niyo as the president. Medyo malaking transition nga yung objective niyo at ayoko naman pong dagdagan yung pressure sainyo." Leni replied after Digong confessed that he still has no plans to give her a cabinet position yet.

"Alam mo kase, Leni, this is an experiment but my expectations are high. I want to put you out of this experiment first para kung may palya, you'll stay pure. It's for the country and for you too." He explained a bit vaguely. "Salamat, okay lang naman talaga. If maisipan niyo na bigyan ako ng position, thank you, if hindi, okay lang rin basta gagampanan ko yung responsibilidad bilang VP ng bansa." She retorted.

"Okay 'yan. Mas okay 'yan. Basta, Leni, don't take this badly. I want you to stay pure. Transitioning of the government may be hard and dirty kaya kailangan kong mag-iwan ng mga tao para kung maging marumi lahat, alam kong nandiyan parin kayo." He added, Leni nodded maximizing her understanding to Digong's unique leadership.

"Tsaka kaibigan ko 'yan umaaway sa'yong si Bongbong." He remarked laughing. "Baka kapag binigyan kita ng position, mag-alboroto 'yan at padiskitahan ang administrasyon natin, lalo ka na. Hindi ko gusto 'yan na bibigyan kita ng position at isabotahe niya 'yang trabaho mo at mabrainwash ako na marumi kang magtrabaho, 'di ko gusto yan. I am avoiding that." He continued. "Palamigin muna natin 'yang sainyo ni Bongbong, I will stay in the middle because you are my vice president and he is my friend and if possible, I want to fix the relationship of the people around me because we need cooperation." He followed trying to make her understand how he is trying to psychologize the people, the enemies and the possible people that may hinder their great administration.

"Osige po, hindi naman po tayo nagmamadali. Six years naman po ang panunungkulan natin and ang saakin lang naman po ay yung mamaximize ko 'yung serbisyo kaya po panaginip ko talagang magkaroon ng cabinet position pero looking at your point naman po, kahit wala naman po kayong ibigay sa ngayon, wala naman po akong problema doon." She informed him about her approval of his decision.

"Alam ko 'yan. I am not underestimating you. I believe in you, Leni. Pero isa isa lang muna tayo. The government is a big trash, big trash talaga kaya kailangan natin ng panahon at pag-unawa. Understanding, Leni. I'm sorry, I cannot promise a position for you yet, but maybe after five years?" He joked, Leni laughed as it sinks into her his concern.

"Biro lang, basta bibigyan kita kapag kailangan na, concentrate ka muna dyan sa vice president mo. Kaya mo na yan." He believed in her. "Ako muna tatanggap sa mga sakit ng ulo para kung may palpak sa cabinet, ako ang sisisihin at ako ang mag-aayos hindi yung kalat kalat ang sisi. Ayoko madamay ka." He added, she blushed.

"Basta suporta lang ako sainyo, president." She firmly stated. "Kung may ibibigay kayo na responsibility saakin, maasahan niyo ako diyan." She added.

"Eeeh, I know." He chuckled. "Basta relax ka lang muna diyan." He began cracking his jokes. "Magtatrabaho nalang po. Wag naman relax lang." She laughed. "Osige, ikaw bahala, basta keep yourself together. Tsaka requriement 'yung nakadress ka lagi ha. Gusto ko maganda vice president ko lagi. Ipagyayabang ko pa yan sa foreign affairs natin." He complimented.

"Ay, hindi naman po-"

"Anong hindi? Anong hindi? Maganda ka, maganda talaga. Tignan mo nga sa salamin." He insisted aiming to make her feel at ease.

"But Leni, 'wag mo isipin na 'di kita gustong vice ko ha. I am just focusing on the big transition." He clarified. "Opo naman." She assured. "Tsaka gustong gusto nga kitang vice. Alam mo 'yon. Bisyo ko." He joked. "President naman!" She blushed.

"Deh, biro lang. Basta may tiwala ako sayo. Gawin mo lang yung trabaho mo sa mga Pilipino at magiging okay tayo." He followed. "Maaasahan niyo ako dyan." She smiled.

"Ang ganda mo." He stated randomly, she laughed quietly. Digong wanted to make her feel at ease with his company and team first before he finally think of a position appropriate for her, moreover, he also wants to keep her from possible harm and sabotages that she may encounter as he is aware of her opponent's (Marcos) capabilities in politics and he wanted to secure and protect her from such harm. It's something that he wants the people to understand but he thought it wouldn't make sense for him to elaborate it to the media as not everyone is fully aware of how politics run and it may come to them as a jargon or something even worse.
