Leni told herself as she got into her black dress and her barong top.

She turned on the TV to get him off her head but she had no luck. He was on the news as the media streamed the preparation at the Libingan ng mga Bayani for the National Heroes Day. She sighed.

She ranted inside her mind as she had no choice but to attend the event and act professional.

In a few moments, she entered the car and drove to the LNMB for the National Heroes Day event and in a coincidence, Digong arrived just exactly the same time as her like he planned it all out.

He did the first move and approached her for a handshake. Jusko, no choice. "Good morning, sir." She greeted him as genuine as she can despite that she is so annoyed by him. "Good morning ma'am." He shook her hand and bowed his head.

She forced a smile at him before he asked her to walk beside her as they head towards the stage. Anong kaartehan 'to? She kept talking inside her head while she smiled at everyone else.

They had to stop for every time he shook hands with the urgent people on the event. She smiled at the males and gave a sullen look at the females that he shook hands with without him noticing.

"Ma'am, ayos lang?" He asked upon noticing how silent she was. She replied with a brief and cold smile, he knew something's wrong.

She sat down at her seat and pulled a poker face as they wait for the event to formally start. Ba't kaya galit si ma'am sakin? He asked himself.

"...President Rodrigo Duterte." The speaker introduced and called him up to the platform to begin his speech.

He started by introducing the officials of the government present at the event. He smiled as he browsed the pages of the speech and saw his favorite name written on it.

Maria Leonor Robredo.

He thought of things to say upon seeing her name. He wanted to compliment her and talk about her during his speech but he was uncertain if she would like the idea of it because sometimes she says it's fine and then the next thing he knows, she hates it. Girls.

"... Vice president... Maria Leonor Robredo..." He introduced and paused for a moment to make an eye contact with her. She nodded coldly and immediately looked away. He just love staring at her but then he knew she might not be pleased with him being so public about how much he adores her so he looked back at his speech paper but as he was about to look away, he saw her smile back at him urging him to give her a second look. He was too distracted he barely noticed how he went silent for quite a while thinking about whether to look at her again or not. The crowd laughed as they notice him wanting to look at his vice president again.

He felt guilty about wanting to look at her again. "Pangatlo." He said talking about his third time to look at her as he just can't get enough. Digong, hindi ako kinikilig ano ba. Magbasa ka na nga diyan. She hid her blushing.

Grabe, ang ganda talaga kahit kailan. Ang sakit man sa puso. He smiled and flipped his speech to the next page to proceed with his speech.

After the ceremony, they walked again together down the stage. "Kasama niyo ma'am yung mga anak niyo?" He asked politely. "Ay hindi, sir ako lang. Kayo, sir? Kasama niyo sila Honeylet?" She asked in return.

It's about time. She told herself with an evil laugh in her mind. She kept her line of vision straight and away from him.

"Sus. Hindi ma'am. Yung third wife ko lang kasama ko." He replied. Third wife nanaman— Gigil mo ako Rodrigo ha. She grumbled.

"Sinong third wife, sir?" She asked and pretended she was looking at the crowd from afar as she waited for his response. A smile grew in his lips as he gazed at his third wife — his dream third wife, he suppose.

She looked at him after having enough of the silent response and he saw him looking at her with a soft smile. "Perfect." He uttered making her melt.

Oh my God, he knows how to get me so well. Grabe. Ayoko na. Sobrang sweet. Oh my God, Digong. Why??? She wanted to explode from the inside.

She bit her lip to conceal her blushing face but he knew her so well, he knew she loved it.

"Lakad na tayo ma'am?" He asked with a charming smile that never failed to lure her in as he held her waist gentlemanly to guide her as they walk ahead.

Oh my god, Digong. You win again. You got me there.
