"Pag-usapan nalang natin sa bahay." Rodrigo suggested as they planned to continue brainstorming and discussing about their work proposal.

"Hala ayoko sainyo," Berna refused, "bakit naman?" asked Leni.

Berna was Rodrigo's childhood friend and Leni's former roommate. Delfin was Rodrigo's best friend and Leni was dating Rodrigo.

"Nakapunta ka na ba sakanila?" She asked. "Hindi pa, bakit? Anong meron?" Leni asked, Delfin looked at her anticipating for her response.

"Ewan ko ba, ang haunted lang ng bahay nito!" She vented out, he just chuckled, completely aware of why.

"Bakit?"
"Bakit haunted?"

Finally, Rodrigo joined the conversation. "Hindi, luma na kase yung bahay pero malaki. Binili lang ng grandparents ko yon way back, I don't know, 1900s? Medyo ano lang. Luma." He explained.

"Oo. Medyo makaluma kase yung design nung bahay tapos ang laki tapos parang feel mo yung rooms na parang sinaunang panahon pa tapos may presence ng mga dati pang mga tao na tumira doon." She further described.

"Mmm, di naman ako naniniwala sa ganyan. It's just psychology or imagination kase nga takot ka." Delfin remarked.

They still pushed through going to Rodrigo's place. Delfin had a car so he drove them. It was still early though and that time of the day didn't feel quite scary. The sun was still up and all the rooms were well lit.

As soon as they arrived at his place — 4:00PM — they began to do their discussion for work, nothing felt unusual within their surroundings. They stayed at the newly renovated living room which looked a little modernized compared to the other parts of the house.

They barely noticed the time running and the sun setting. They only had the chance to look at the time when it was already seven o'clock in the evening and all their tasks and plans were perfectly laid out already.

Leni rested herself on the couch, slouching. She was the one who finished first among them.

Rodrigo yawned, he's been feeling drowsy since they arrived.

"Kaya ba this year?" She jested at them making them laugh.

The house helper silently chuckled with them as she stood by the dining area's table.

Leni looked at her and smiled. The house helper smiled at her and resumed cleaning the lavatory near the dining area.

Delfin finally finished his work as well and started a chitchat with Leni while Berna and Rodrigo finished their task.

"Dito ka ba nagste-stay lagi?" Leni asked.

"Hindi, ang laki man ng bahay. Doon ako lagi sa condo. Bihira lang ako talaga dito." Rodrigo retorted.

"Oh, eh bakit naghohouse helper ka pa dito kung lagi ka namang nasa condo? Ang laki laki ng bahay, ang hirap kaya maglinis ng sobrang laking bahay." Berna remarked.

Delfin furrowed his eyebrows, "may house helper ka pa dito?" He asked, among them, he was the most practical.

"Wala man akong house helper dito." He replied.

Leni chuckled, "ayun yung house helper niyo." She insisted and pointed towards the dining area where she last saw the lady.

Berna and Rodrigo quietly looked at each other. "Wag ka magturo turo." Berna softly reminded her.
