Couple's Selfie (G)

Summary: Leni asks for a selfie with Rodrigo while they walk around Surigao for an ocular visit then she steals a cheek kiss from him too.

He was giving the people instructions in Surigao after the quake when one of his PSG informed him that Leni has arrived and he has to leave immediately in pattern to their protocol that the president and vice president cannot be at the disaster area at the same time.

"Hindi pa ako tapos mag-ocular. Ipagbawal mo nalang muna yung media habang pareho kaming nandiyo. Pabalikin mo kamo kapag umalis na ako." He instructed his security to relay his command.

In a couple of minutes, Leni arrived at the place, greeted the people who welcomed her presence. After then, she approached him and shook his hand with a bright smile. "Sir," she uttered. He smiled upon reciprocating her greeting.

She decided to walk with him as he continue his ocular. In the first minutes of their walk, he noticed how she was being left behind whenever he gives instruction to the officers in charge and he hated seeing her get out of placed.

"Siguraduhin niyo yan madala sakanila ngayong hapon." He stipulated before he shifted his attention to Leni who was just watching him from a distance.

"Leni," he called and asked her to come close. She was slightly surprised by his call, she walked towards him and leaned close. "Bakit sir?" She asked. "Di ko lang sa tabi ko, ba't ka man nasa likod, vice kita eh." He replied making her blush.

They continued walking around the affected areas, she couldn't help but admire him for showing great leadership and sincere concern to the people through his instructions. She barely noticed how much she has been gazing at him since they started walking.

He had to look twice when his eyes passed by her looking keenly at him with a smile on her face. "Bakit?" He asked. "Ah. Wala, ang... wala." She felt shy to tell him why she was hooked staring at him. He tried to act like he wasn't blushing so hard but he loved the fact that she's so amused of him.

They had to pass through a broken road construction to check on the other side's damage. The officers assisted him and he saw Leni still standing on the other side of the broken road. She can't pass by with her dress, an officer relayed to Digong that she'll just wait until he returns.

He hated to leave her behind, he hate it when he sees her get out of placed but he has no choice, he has to check the other side of the road's damage.

Minutes after checking and giving instructions, he went back to Leni and gave his last instructions to the people in charge. As soon as he took a step on the other side, he walked towards Leni who was standing tamely beside her guards while she takes pictures of the damages for reference.

As an opportunity sprung, Leni asked Digong for a quick selfie. "Sir, picture tayo!" She asked cheerfully. His heart melted, she was so precious.

They leaned towards each other, he held her close before she took a snapshot. She swiped to check on some filters. "Anong magandang filter, sir?" She asked and showed him their photo. "Anong maganda? Ito or ito" She asked swiping two filters next to his eyes.

"Ikaw man yung maganda." He pointed out, she wanted to gush in blush. "Sir talaga— ay." She took a step away from him to avoid interrupting his business with the people. An officer gave Digong an update that their trucks are ready to transport the relief goods to the affected barangays.

"Ba't ka lumayo? Dito ka mam," he held her through her wrist and brought her close to him as he called the officers' to reiterate his instruction before he leaves.

Digong knew how anxious Leni was and leaving her behind and letting her feel out of placed would make her feel quite uneasy. He held her close by her hips, her cheeks flustered as she noticed the people around blushing over them, hence, she loved being close to him. She loved how he is capable of reading what's running in her mind.

"'Yong relief goods, ipadala niyo na bago magdilim para hindi mawalan ng makakain yung mga naapektuhan." He instructed further, the officers in charge nodded in response to his directions and relayed the message to their workers and volunteers.

Leni was still looking at him smiling. "May dumi ba ako sa muka? Kanina ka pa nagpatingin tingin sakin." He chuckled feeling a bit conscious. "Wala, nakakatuwa ka lang kase. Cute." She whispered hoping it was only him who could hear her fascination of him.

He chuckled with her adorable expression of herself. "Lakad na tayo mam." He didn't let go of her in his arms, he kept his hand grabbing her hips as they stood behind their PSGs and officers. Leni looked around and saw nobody behind them, everyone was in front of them and it urged her to do something silly.

She made a small jump and kissed him in the cheek. He was stunned, she was so playful, she blushed with what she did.

They weren't sure if nobody saw it from around the place but they didn't care anymore. They felt so happy with each other.
