German and I walked hand in hand down the path and German began to tell me a story about when he and Violetta lived in Spain. Apparently we would be meeting someone they were once very close too and I was giddy with excitement. I have always been told that German kept to himself, especially after moving away, but it appears this is not the case.

We are meeting the person in the park and as we approach a blonde woman smiles and waves in our direction. German picks up his pace a little, but still grips onto my hand firmly. The blonde woman however broke into a full sprint and ran at German. He quickly lost his grip on my hand so he could catch the small woman who was coming at him at full force.

When he caught her she burst out laughing and he joined in. I stood there rather awkwardly.

"German. It's been too long!"

" I agree Maca, I agree!" says German laughing as he puts her down.

She kind of stands there awkwardly swaying, nodding her head towards me as if waiting for an introduction, but German is just staring at her.

"I'm Angie." I say holding out my hand to her.

"Macarena." she says shaking my hand "but everyone calls me Maca."

"Well in that case I'm Angeles, but only my mother, sister and German have ever used my full name. I'm just Angie to everyone else."

"Well Angie, I believe your husband is in a trance." says Maca laughing.

"I know." I say shaking German furiously. He can't stop looking at her.

"Just look at you Maca! You're stunning!" says German and I feel myself becoming angrier.

"Thanks." says Maca smiling.

"You've changed so much! Nothing like the fourteen year old that visited everyday!"

I was shocked. Fourteen?

German turns to me and smiles, "Maca lived next door with her mother, she would come and play with Violetta everyday, they were best friends, no one could replace Maca in Violetta's eyes. They are sisters."

"Which brings me to why I'm here!" chimes Maca, "I had to see her! You too German!"

"That's great!" I sang. Clearly she is very important to German and Violetta. I shouldn't have judged her so quickly.

"Now, you've met Angie, Maca, but there is someone else." says German smiling as he pulls me in closer.

"Who?" she says excitedly, "Do you two have a kid? You wouldn't tell me on the phone!"

"In a way." I say looking at German, "I'm pregnant."

"That's great! Congratulations! Is it a boy or girl"

"We don't know yet, it's to early on to see, so at the moment, it's our little tealeaf."

"Tealeaf? That's the cutest nickname!" she says happily, "This is great! I'm so happy for you all!"

She pulls German and I into a hug and admittedly she is rather strong.

"I have so much to tell you! We all have so much to talk about too, but I'll start simple, I'm planning on moving here permanently and working in construction. It have transferred here with my company and if all goes well then this could be my new home."

"Construction?" asks German.

"Yes!" says Maca happily, "It felt right. Of course it's thanks to you that I ever get the qualifications I needed. You were the one who paid for my education after all."

German is so nice. I see him blush when she mentions this.

"That was nothing, you were smart. You are smart! You're also family." says German pulling her into a slight hug.

"And I feel the same about you!" says Maca accepting his hug.

"How about us four go out for ice cream?" says German happily.

"Four?" says Maca confused.

"Tealeaf." says German and I in union.
