When I made it outside I looked left and right hoping no one was around, then sprinted up the hill to the Junior School. I made it safely to the doors at the end of the hall and used my card to unlock the doors. The Junior School was as messed up as the High School. I slowly walked to the door that leads to the offices above the Junior School. All of the classroom doors were locked, and Mrs. Lane's office door was closed. Once I got there I realized it was quiet, too quiet. The area was motionless. I checked behind me, nothing, to my left, a wall, and to my right, was a blue phone booth with the words "Police Public Call Box." the doors of it opened inviting me in.
"Nah." I said, yanking on the door, it barely moved.
The phone booth began to gradually move towards me. I felt that the end was near. I had accepted my fate for a brief moment, before a hand grabbed my shoulder and pulled me out of the way. I never got a glimpse of them, it was as if they disappeared after they save me. I looked down the hall and saw an army of teachers walking toward me. Behind me was an even bigger army of teachers walking toward me. I picked up a math textbook off of the ground and held it up in the air shouting. "Stay back! Math is a dangerous subject!" They ignored me and kept walking towards me.
"I've got a textbook and I'm not afraid to use it." I yelled.
"Webassign." said a teachers in the crowd.
As they got closer, the door to Mrs. Lane's office opened and a cool wind rushed out. I was out of options so I ran in. and shut the door. It locked. I was locked in, but at least they were locked out. I laughed at them, and teased them.
"You'll never get me!" I said.
"But I will." a voice said behind me.
Slowly I turned my head to see who was behind me. Before I could get a look, they hit me over the head with something and I was knocked out.
I woke up just as before thinking this time it was a dream and I had fallen asleep in Dr. Kalhorn's class. Excuses rushed through my head again. But then I noticed I wasn't in class. I was being carried out of the Junior School I was tied up and lifted over their heads.. They were silent and marching down towards the gym.
"No!" I cried. "PLEASE! NO!"
"Catch the kid. Tie him up. Throw him out. Catch the kid. Tie him up. Throw him out." they chanted in unison quietly.
"What?!"
"Catch the kid. Tie him up. Throw him out." they said again louder, and they repeated it, louder and louder as they marched me across the bridge.
"CATCH THE KID! TIE HIM UP! THROW HIM OUT!"
They circled the pond a few times, and continued to chant. Then all of a sudden they stopped. My was beating out of my chest as they stood in silence. The silence was deadly terrifying. Gradually they carried me to the pond saying "Throw him out. Throw him out. Throw him out. Tied up, and scared...they threw me in the water. I emerged without having any ropes on me I tiredly swam to the edge and caught my breathe. The sky was dark, the moon was barely visible with all of the floodlights everywhere. A hand reached out to me and a mysterious voice said "Come with me if you want to live."
