"Ayeeee" I said looking at my phone "my shit buzzing"

I glanced through my texts, twitter and instagram notifications.

"So uhh.. Jay," I said still scrolling checking everything. "Wassup with you cousin's friends? They got boyfriends or nah?"

"I think Taliah does.. But her and that nigga been patchy.. Why?"

"Nigga you know why!" Julian said laughing while he drove.

"What about Brooklyn though?" dayDay asked.

I sucked my teeth at the sound of her name. I don't know how i feel about her anymore. She was too clingy. I been tryna get her off my case for the longest. But I gotta follow up on Taliah, 'cause if she with whatever his name is now, she wont be with him for much longer. Not if I got anything to do with it. (;

We got out the car and walked into the bowling alley. The whole team was there, Tammy, my mom, Mad, Ryan, Chance, etc.

"What's good bro?" Ryan asked.

I dapped him up real quick and told him about these girls.

"I'm telling you, yo, these girls bad as shit.. i got my eye on one of 'em."

"Well where they at?"

"They on their way now."

"I gotta see this" he said laughing.

I walked up to the counter and grabbed some shoes.

"Who ready to lose real quick?"

"You not ready for us though." Chance said.

"I aint tryna hear that." i said back. "we gonna see who really gonna win."

I sat down with Ryan and he pointed at the doorway.

"That's them?"

I looked in the direction he was pointing and saw the girls.

"Yeah."

"Damnnnn.."

I laughed and dapped him up.

They got their shoes and sat the counter where all our bowling balls were. I gave a quick glance at Julian and DayDay and we made our way over to them.

I walked up to all the girls, gave them hugs but kept my eye on one.

"wassup Ma" I said to Taliah.

She looked up at with her beautiful brown eyes. She didn't say anything she just smiled.

"I don't think we've met formally," I said putting my hand out. "I'm Langston"

"I'm Taliah" she said putting her hand in mine and shaking it.

I sat there in front of her just admiring the beauty. We exchanged the same look and our hands were still together. She looked past me then let go of my hand.

Her boyfriend walked in, just watching, creeping. I'm guessing to make sure Taliah was loyal, cause her facial expression changed. When he walked over, you could tell she was surprised to even see him there.

"Wassup" he said giving me a lil handshake.

"What's good, & you are?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"Oh my bad, I'm with Taliah" He said as he grabbed her by the side and pulled her closer.

He kissed her on the forehead and they started walking away towards the vending machines. She looked back at me and I just smiled.

They not gonna last long.. she gonna be mine.

"Watch this.." Kaylin said picking up a ball. "strike time"

"You tryna bet? cause i dont think you gonna make it" Johnniece said.

We were all sitting at the table in lane 10, it was guys versus girls.

"We on the same team, what yall betting for?" Saiige said with a twisted facial expression.

"Shhhhh Sai." she said. " but, word?! how much?"

"$20"

"Bet.." She said. "watch the master at work"

She rolled the ball and it went straight to the gutter. lol

"Gutter Balllll!"

We all laughed as she turned around pouting. She reached in her pocket and handed Johnniece a 20.

"Thank you very muchhh." she said stuffing it in her wallet.

Kaylin walked over to the counter to order more food for us. I got up and walked with her.

"Can we get two more pizzas for lane 10 please."

I leaned on the counter and looked at her while she paid.

"What?" she said laughing.

"Nothing.. Just enjoying the view."

She laughed and hid her face.

"You don't give up, do you?" she laughed again. "you been hitting on me all night. Wassup with you?"

"Well I mean.." I shrugged. "I just wanna get to know you more. Can I have your number?"

She smiled and put her hand out, signaling me to give her my phone.

I handed it to her and she put the number in quick. She saved it as 'Kay😍💎' before handing it back to me.

"Here you go miss." the guy at the counter said while handing her the pizzas.

She picked them up and walked back to our lane, leaving me standing there.

"I hate to see her go, but I love to see her walk away.. damn"

"Huh?" she said stopping in her tracks and turning around.

"Nothing.." I said smiling.

"Mmhmm.." she said raising an eyebrow. "c'mon. So I can beat you in this game."

We both laughed as we got back to the table near our lane.

"Yeah, whatever.. Ms. Gutterball"
