I jumped from roof top to roof top. Taking my time to enjoy the night before I get chewed out by Kakashi for once again, doing the opposite of everything he said. We have a hate love relationship.

I continued on my way until I could see the house we shared in the distance. My thumping heart ached painfully in my ears, while the feeling of a nervous sweat began to break out on my brow. He was home. I knew he was. His lights were off, the house seemed dead. He was definitely home. It always went like this. In some way I did it to myself and really couldn't complain. However, I was considered one of the highest ranking ninjas in this village, even if no one besides certain individuals knew.

When I finally landed near the house. I found myself gulping, my hands reaching up for the door handle. Before I could open it myself, the door slowly opened. At first I couldn't see anything on the other side, but just as I was about to move. A sickeningly sweat voice came from inside.

"Naruto~" my eyes widened and I instantly turned tail to run. My legs pushing hard off the ground in one of the many escape routes I had memorized incase Kakashi went on one of his scary rampage moods.

Sure enough, the man seemed normal. Everything he did seemed as usual, his talking, his body actions. Yet under it all, you could tell. You could feel it, sense it and it sent shivers down your spine.

"Where do you think you're going?~" without warning the back of my shirt was grabbed. I was yanked back and my body instantly falling to the ground as I did.  A small groan leaving my lips and the sound of a door shutting could be heard. The lights were turned on, causing me to flinch back at the sudden unwelcome intrusion of light.

"Yo!" He said raising his hand with his usual closed eyed smile. I stared at him for a few moments before calmly getting up to look at him. I took a deep breath in at that moment before releasing it with my voice.

"Don't give me that shit! If your going to go around doing that crap at least have a reason for it!" I shouted dissatisfied. My hand grasping the clothing by my chest. The feeling of my erratic jumping heart being easily felt through it.

"Well I was afraid you'd run off again and leave me all alone"

"Your personality is reason enough to run" I retorted.

"That hurt... but back to the serious matter at hand" he said. My body tensed slightly but stayed standing tall.

"Why haven't you been home for the past week?" He asked leading me to the table were only two chairs were. He sat me down before sitting in the one across from me. His head resting in the palm of his hands as he stared at me.

"Doing ninja stuff..."

Really. Ninja stuff. Where's the expert lier that can deceive everyone around him?

'Excuse you fluff ball. You try lying to the man who's been taking care of you most your life. Especially with his scary demon side that shows. He's an expert lier as well. Please, you deceive him over something petty and stupid' I angrily shouted back with no real stepping stone for where I was going with it laid out.

"What kind of ninja stuff?"

"Classified kind?..." I said unsure.

"Like taking down Mizuki classified or leaving the village for a mission you never made clear with me before you left kind?" My mouth went dry and I found myself staring at him somewhat looking calm. Even if I was a nervous reck inside.

"Hahah.. heeey. I passed the academy. I even gave it effort." I slowly started attempting to sway the conversation from where it was at.

"Hmm. I see. So does that mean our agreement still stands. The mask is demolished. No more pulling the dumb blond act?" He asked. His hands moving to be crossed over his chest as hs leaned back in his seat.

"Yes, well sorta.." His eyes narrowed dangerously, as he let some of aura leak. Allowing me to feel just how serious he was about me getting rid of the mask I used in my daily life. My daily interactions with the villagers. My secure heaven.

"I told you. Slowly. Not just all at once. I can't just make everyone shocked instantly. Plus. It'll be fun to screw with them." I cheerfully told him.

"But—" before he could talk more I stretched my arms above my head and yawned.

"Look at the time. I should hurry off to bed. I'll need a good nights rest before my big day tomorrow" I said quickly. Rushing from the table and into the bathroom, where I locked the door.  I only sighed before deciding to take a shower.

Kakashi and me lived in a decent apartment. Well decent to us. Anyone else would say it's cramped and to close in size to have two people living in it. However, we didn't mind. We enjoyed each other's company. Even if I seemed terrified of his particular nature sometimes. I was fond of the older man and I knew he was equally as fond of me. After the incident many years ago. Kakashi has been taken care of me, of course I was reluctant at first but eventually gave in to the silver haired man.

Especially when he's always tracking me down and dragging me back by force. I was grateful though.

Kakashi always wants to know what kind of missions I have that require me to leave the village. The first it was every little thing I did, but as years passed, he began to pull back. The only time I was not needed to tell him of my out fo village whereabouts was when the mission was given under secret orders like a Anbu.

I hurried to get finished in the shower. Jumping out in no time. I peeked outside, watching for the other occupant. Rushing to get my new clothes for bed. The lights outside of the bath room were out and it wasn't hard to tell he had retreated to his bed. Allowing me the decency to gather my story, so I could lie better tomorrow. I only gave a sight sigh before changing. Hurrying to get my hair as dry as I could with a towel before turning the bathroom light off. Using the lights from the window and memory of the layout to find it.

I instantly slipped into bed and pulled the covers up over my chin.

Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
