Stopping at the familiar park, the two smiled at the memories it carried. Though it was dark, they could still make out that it had been unchanged since the last time they had played here together.
Looking up at the sky, Hana felt a sense of relief, of comfort. Apart from the full moon that shone brightly, the sky was filled only with wisps of cloud and the odd star that appeared briefly from beyond those clouds.
after a few minutes, she tore her gaze away from sky she knew all too well. She turned towards Hansol, who had already been looking at her, and smiled.
Taking three steps away from Hansol, Hana brought the camera she had been carrying in her small shoulder bag and brought it up to her eye. She directed its focus to Hansol. Feeling a little embarrassed, Hansol moved his head away from her so that she could only see his face from a side view. Readjusting her positioning only slightly, her finger pushed down on the button firmly, capturing the silhouette of Hansol with the background of a dark sky and full moon.
Hana smiled, taking one last look at the photo before putting the camera away. She walked towards Hansol.
He grabbed her hand softly, catching her off guard. Without a word, with only a smile, Hansol lead them as they walked around the old park they once loved.
Hansol seemed to have so much focus on reminiscing, pointing out things to Hana, smile brightening at the memories. He headed towards the swing set, deciding he with an excited glint in his eyes that he wanted to see who could swing the highest again.
Hana seemed to only be focusing on one thing at the moment. Her eyes glued to their interlocked hands.
It felt warm. inviting. gentle.
His large hand held her delicate one so well, so perfectly.
She felt it when she saw him today, the swirl in her stomach, the breath caught in her throat, the fact her feelings were starting to clear up little by little. But only now did everything become so evident. Only now did her feelings stop confusing her. She finally figured out how she felt, and she finally figured out what she wanted.
Her feet stopped still before she could even think everything through properly. Before she could think about Hansol having different feelings, or how their friendship could be affected. She didn't want to give herself time to be discouraged. She couldn't wait patiently and have this inside of her forever.
Hansol looked back at her, a mix of confusion and worry was on his face.
She didn't look at him though, her eyes still on their hands.
Hana gulped, squeezing his hand tight.
Finally looking up at him, a strong intensity filled her eyes catching Hansol off guard, and stopping him before he could utter a word. Though what caught him even more off guard was the words that came out of her mouth in a split second.
"I wanna hold your hand forever!"
