I was laying on the bed as my prep team, Tara, Kelly, and Matthew are making me look good but aren't exactly putting me in outfits that make me look good or nice makeup. After about an hour, they finish. I got up and looked in the mirror. For 1, I was naked but on the bright side, I looked amazing. It looked like a different person and not one of those Capitol weirdos. Soon, another face appeared in the mirror. Riker lynch. He was pretty cool as a singer but not so much on looks. However, he was Rocky's brother and Haley's favorite cousin, so how could I not know him more. "Enjoying," he asks. I nod, knowing he will make me look better. "I have the perfect outfit for district 2," he said, "so let's get started." I sit down as he does my makeup and my hair. He gets up and walks out. I go the the nearest mirror and look in it. Dramatic cat eye, brown lipstick and eyeshadow, and a brown streak on my forehead. My hair was place on the top of my head. It isn't the kind of look you would find at prom, but it is still fabulous. I thought Riker was just good at singing, but he really outdid himself. I soon hear the door creak open and Riker walks in holing my outfit. I was happy it wasn't a dress, but I still asked, because they are so common for females in the Capitol and I bet most of the other female tributes have them. "Is it a dress," I ask. He started to smile and laugh. "No, dresses are too predictable and they can't be remembered," he said. I look at the outfit, and it was truly amazing. It was brown armor that came with a mallet and a helmet. You may think it's dorky, but it is amazing. "Try it on," he said. I don't hesitate for a moment before putting it on. "Wow Riker, you should design instead of sing," I say. "I had to stop because I landed in the Capitol and they don't like singing," he said. I look in the mirror and gasp. I looked amazing, like I was ready to kill everyone in the arena, but I hide it, remembering not to get too excited. "Let's go kick some but," I say dully. Riker claps his hands in amusement, like that's what he looks for in a tribute. "Good girl," he said. I am excited I met Riker and more excited he became my friend. We are guided to our chariot, where Niall is there. He has eye liner with his hair tucked under his helmet. He had a hammer instead of a mallet, but other than that, we look the same. His designer was Ross Lynch, who was also in R5! This was getting really strange. "Ok, we have specific instructions, no smiling, no waving, stare straight ahead, and look like you are ready to kill anyone who steps in front of you," they said. I knew that would be easy, because I want to get Niall home to Samantha no matter what happens.
