(one hour earlier)
"NIALL! YOU DIDN'T DO A SHOP!" Harry suddenly exclaimed as he searched the kitchen for something to teat. Either Niall hasn't been shopping, or he's eaten everything...
"OF COURSE I DIDN'T HAVE SEX WITH A SHOP-I'M NOT THAT DESPERATE." Niall yelled back from the living room where he was playing with his God son. Niall kicked the football to Luke who ran frantically after it and ended up accidently knocking one of Harry's new lamps... Luke's brown eyes widened as did Niall's and the words 'Uh Oh', fell out of Luke's lips. Uh oh, indeed! They both knew they would be in serious trouble if Harry found out.
"Quick! Hide the evidence!" Niall hissed in a voice so small that only Luke could hear it. There would be World War III in the household if Harry saw that Niall was involved with destroying the tenth new lamp of Harry's. Niall's been given the lecture about being more responsible and a good role model to his God son too many times-but it's never sunk in!
"NIALL. DO NOT US THAT SORT OF LANGUAGE IN FRONT OF MY SON!" Harry scowled at the bleached blonde Irish lad who simply shrugs in return.
"He;s going to have to know about how he was created some day-"
"-HE'S ONLY THREE YEARS OLD FOR CRYING OUT LOUD." Harry was on the verge of losing his absolute temper at his best and only friend.
Luke was looking between his two guardians with worry and concern plastered on his innocent features.
"Please. No shout. Please?" Luke sat in between the pair and buried his face into his chubby hands, shaking his head in dismay. This calmed Harry right now down, also to Niall's relief and advantage.
"I'm going to get some food... do you want anything, bud?"
"Yeah! Get some chicken, bacon, sausages-"
"-NOT YOU. I WAS TALKING TO LUKE! I'm surprised you're still hungry-how is that possible?!" Harry was genuinely shocked and curious about Niall's metabolic rate. It was a surprise he isn't obese at the amount he engulfs.
"Sweeties! Harry-boo!" Luke clapped his hands excitedly and mentally Harry regretted asking the question. He was concerned for Luke's teeth as any parent would be. They would want their child to be as close to perfection as possible. No problems. Problems caused stress and Harry had enough of that as it is.
"Bud... you know that-"
but the look Niall gave Harry almost to say 'don't be a buzz kill, upset your son, make him happy dammit', swaying Harry's decision and with a kiss on Luke's curls and a serious glare to Niall, he was out the front door.

"Your order of coffee has been placed. Please take a seat and wait patiently for a till owner to call you over when it is ready. Thank you for buying from Starbucks." the machines Harry placed his order in had announced and Harry did as he was told. Turning around sharply, thinking of Luke and his future. Would he let his son ever drink coffee? It would make him more hyperactive then usual. Luke James Styles was energetic, confident and very loving. He could approach any stranger and form a connection with any one of them. It was a worry for Harry because stranger danger and it also meant that Luke would have a big heart. Meaning heartbreak could easily happen for his son. Being so lost in his thoughts, Harry felt himself colliding with something hard and a hot burning sensation spill onto his clothes only barely touching his skin-and he landed harshly on his bum. He was sure he had dented it now!
"Dude you need to watch were you're going!" Harry groaned opening his eyes to see find the source of the voice who had done this mess to him. Lots of colourful words filled his mined and he was so tempted to let them all spill out of his mouth... like the person's tea on his clothes!
But when he had opened his eyes to see greeny grey eyes looking down at him-all the words automatically vanished... and his heartbeat began to thump harder then it usually would.
"Harry?" the southern country farmer accent spoke quietly as if it was in disbelief that right now was actually reality.
"Nathan..." Harry managed to breathe out. The crowd that was once around the pair, broke away as they realised their wasn't a fight about to start. Londoners love fights.
"Hi-hey... wow. You've changed so much? How are you, Harry?" Harry instantly notices the change in Nathan's speaking. He's no longer stuttering meaning he's much more confident then ever. Strange to believe as Harry is used to always shy Nathan and cause him to blush. It's shows how much time can change life.
"Hey. So have you! I've been... okay. Life's been bearable. What about yourself?" Harry manages to stand to his feet, his clothes were drenched and sticking to his skin but that was the last thing he would care about right now.
"I see. That's good. I've been... lovely. My career has really taken off by storm and I'm quite... happy with my life right now." Harry's happiness was in Luke... was it right to tell Nathan this? Would he be okay with Luke? Or would be freak out? Has Nathan moved on? Does he still... have feelings for Harry? So many questions that filled Harry's mind but there was such little time for answers.
"That's amazing. I'm so proud of you. I knew you would go far." Harry smiles at Nathan and inside Nathan for once in a long time, he feels butterflies erupting in his stomach-the beautiful kind. He fights the blush ready to creep onto his face and smiles back, simply but genuinely. It wasn't a fake one he puts on for the paparazzi.
"What's... new for you?" Nathan asked the question Harry was dreading. How can he respond? Oh-I got married, had a kid, the mother died though, live with my mate, depressing life filled with stress. I didn't go into law, nah I went into teaching, so yeah. It's nothing compared to a life filled with luxury like Nathan's. They both left at the same station on graduation day, but went on completely different trains.
"Um... I...-" before he could answer, his phone began to rapidly buzz in his pocket and he reached for it before it took off his leg, showing a picturing of him, Luke and Reagan. Unfortunately, Nathan sees this... and he is lost for words. He feels his heart shattering into millions of pieces at this one picture. He just jumps to conclusions.
"You're... you're a father?" Nathan backs away slightly in a state of shock and surprise at this. is mind isn't function properly and emotions are on haywire.
"Umm... yeah, but-"
"-so you're not gay?"
Harry gulps and opens his mouth to speak and explain about the whole situation, but Nathan being the now confident male he is, speaks for him. His words are completely not true, but how is he to know? "So all this time I was hoping, praying that I would find you an have the almost same relationship as before but... but we can't. You're married and you have a child. I'm going to go before. Before I lose it." and with that, he was out the door before Harry could manage to think of a sentence to say.
The call goes to miscall and Harry was just about to chase after Nathan but the till lady announces that his overpriced coffee was made.
And let the love of his life slip through his fingers once more.
