"I can't believe this!"

Keith sat up, preparing for Lance's theatrics. "What now..."

"My robe! It's... gone! Vanished! Poof!"

Keith sighed. "Have you checked under the bed?"

"Yes! A thousand times!"

"I seriously doubt that."

"Get the Quiznak out of bed and help me!"

Keith stood up and stooped down, lifting the blankets to look under the bed. "If I find it, you owe me..." He shuffled the things aside as Lance watched.

The door slid open. "Lance! I found your robe!"

Keith jumped, hitting his head on the bed with a dull thunk. He rubbed his head as he moved out from under the bed, sitting on the floor to watch lance's reunion with his robe.

"My baby! Thank you, Hunk!"

"Where was it?" Keith asked.

"Some kid was wearing it... told him I'd let him have a ride in my lion if he gave it back."

"Smart move, Hunk." Keith seemed impressed.

"Thanks, Keith!" Hunk beamed.

Lance spun around with his robe. "Oh baby I thought I lost you!"

Keith crossed his arms.

"Watch it, Lance! You're gonna make Keith jealous!" He laughed.

Keith turned away. "Not likely..."

"Aww someone's being a little grumpy Gus!" Lance crouched inches away from Keith, smiling at him teasingly.

"I'm not grumpy!" He yelled back.

"Sure, Sunshine." Lance brushed Keith's hair away from his face to look into his violet eyes. "Worry not, I can make the dark clouds go away." He smiled and traced Keith's jaw with the tips of his fingers, resting them under his chin as he gently pushed up to make Keith face him. Keith sat with wide eyes as he looked up at him, his lips open slightly as all anger vanished. Lance smirked and connected their lips for a tender kiss. "Did that work?"

Keith hesitated. "Not sure... you might have to try again..."

"Aye aye, captain..." Lance kissed him again.

Hunk held a hand over his heart and smiled warmly.

The door slid open. "HUNK!"

Lance jumped into Keith's arms in surprise. Keith held Lance protectively then calmed down when he recognized Pidge.

"Tell my brother that you're still wet when you're completely submerged underwater!"

"I...What..?"

"Matt says that it's all a matter of water ratio, but if you're underwater YOU'RE STILL QUIZNAKING WET!"

"Okay, calm down..."

"I'M COMPLETELY CALM!"

"Okay..." He looked over his shoulder at Lance and Keith. "I'll talk to you guys later..."

"Bye."

Lance saluted. "See ya, buddy!" The moment Hunk left, Lance fell into a fit of laughter.

"What's so funny?"

When he calmed down, he sat up and leaned against Keith's shoulder. "Just a little something between me and Matt."

"You told Matt to say that, didn't you?" Keith deadpanned.

"Yes I did!" He laughed again. "Her face was priceless!"

"I'm telling Pidge."

"No! She'll kill me!" He tackled Keith to the ground, pinning his arms to the floor.

Keith rolled over, trying to push Lance off. "The quiznak! Lance, let me go!"

"No!"

"Lance, I will flip you!"

"Try It, mi amor!"

Keith wrapped his legs around Lance and twisted so that their positions were reversed. "You were saying?" He smirked playfully then glanced to a small object that fell out of Lance's pocket. He cocked his head to the side in curiosity and went to pick it up. He sat back on Lance's thighs. He didn't notice Lance's blush due to the fact that he was too busy inspecting the ring. "What's this?"

"That's um... well it's..."

"Looks Like a ring... is it yours?" He asked, glancing down at Lance.

"Well... technically yours...if you accept it..."

"What..?" His voice was just above a whisper.

"Keith... There's a huge chance that we both won't make it out of this war alive..."

"I know that... so why--"

"--I want to hold onto the hope that maybe we will. Maybe we'll all be okay and we'll go back to earth. We could go to university together... get married... have a happily ever after... gives us something more to fight for, right?" Lance's voice was shaky from nerves. Keith was a practical guy, Maybe This wasn't his thing.

Keith stared at the ring then back up at him, weighing his options. "If I say yes... What would happen..?"

"We promise to stay together always..." Lance smiled.

Keith smiled before an old thought returned, clouding his mind. His gaze dropped. "...I've... had promises like this before... people always promise to stay but..." He blinked back tears. "...but everyone always leaves eventually."

"Keith..." Lance sat up, cupping Keith's face in his hands as pale skin darkened to purple. "Your mom came back. She's here! You have me and the others! We promise to never leave you, ever! Please don't shut us out..."

"I just..." Glowing yellow eyes blinked up at him. "...I need to go..."

Lance nodded with understanding and released Keith, watching as Keith ran from the room. He stared down at the ring with tears clouding his vision. "He'll come around... after all, it wasn't a no..." He wiped his eyes on his sleeve as he pocketed the ring once again.
