Alive Again

Chapter 9

**Josh's P.O.V**

I tried to do something I learnt back in health class, hopefully I remembered how.

Suddenly her pulse stopped and I knew I had to try it.

I pressed my hands on her chest and pumped, hoping she would start breathing again, then I pressed my lips to her and blew air into her.

"Please work....Grace please...please..." I whispered while pumping on her chest again.

I took a deep breath and blew into her mouth again.

"Come on...PLEASE...PLEASE." I begged.

I could see blood slowly oozing out from the side of her head, it wasn't a lot..but there could be something worse happening inside her head right now.

I heard the ambulance approaching.

I once again pumped on her chest and blew into her.

I saw an ambulance start to roll up and gave Grace one long last kiss on her unconscious lips, before handing her off to the ambulance.

Soon enough, she was rushed to the hospital.

God....how could I let this happen?

I carefully walked back to our room, when i noticed a little bit of dry blood on my hands.

Grace's blood.The same blood that was now stained on my carpet and wall back home, forever.

Then, I saw him.

I walked up to him and forcefully turned him around to face me.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?" I screamed.

Derek didn't respond.

"I SAID WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?" I repeated.

Derek looked at me then said,"She isn't yours, she doesn't love you."

I felt like I was going to lose control.

"SHE SURE AS HELL DOESN'T LOVE YOU. YOU PROBABLY FUCKING KILLED HER."  I screamed back.

Derek chuckled,"Calm the fuck down. I just threw her into the pool, it's water she won't fucking die. Are you on your heroin again or something?"

I pinned him against the wall with force by his neck.

"SHE DIDN'T HAVE A PULSE." I sceamed.

Derek's eyes widened.

Suddenly a door opened and Jessica came rushing out.

"JOSH!" She screamed.

My eyes stayed locked on Derek's. I felt like killing him right then and there,

"JOSH WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Jessica repeated coming to my side.

I took a deep breath and turned my head to face Jessica, leaving my hand around Derek's throat.

"Where's Grace?" She asked.

"She might be dead." I said," And it's all thanks to this asshole over here."
