Alive Again

Chapter 6

**Josh's P.O.V**

I was sitting near the waterfall, our waterfall. I don't know what to expect. What will Grace tell me? Suddenly I feel hot breath inside of my ear. 

"boo."

I jumped off of the rock I was sitting on, nearly landing in the pond. I heard a slight giggle behind me. I turned around to see a smiling Grace, looking as gorgeous as ever. She had straightened her hair, and was wearing a blue florescent tank top, with white short shorts and a cropped leather jacket.  

I walked towards her slowly, until she threw her arms around me. I could hear her whisper,"I've missed you." into my shirt. When she pulled away, I stared at her in confusion.

Finally, she began to explain how Amanda ordered her to break up with me, and fake date Chris. I listened carefully until I heard Grace say,"I still love you Josh.." 

I stood there, still in shock. I didn't know what to say or do. I finally said,"I never stopped loving you."  

Before I knew what was happening, I felt Grace's lips pressed against mine. Then I thought of something.

**Grace's P.O.V**

I stood there kissing Josh, for what felt like forever. I never wanted to stop, but then he pulled away. I don't care what Amanda was doing right now, or if she's even watching us, I just knew one thing. I needed Josh, I can't live without him, and I'm not letting Amanda get in the way of us. 

"We could just leave." Josh said. 

I stood there with a confused look on my face.  

"We could go somewhere far away, just you and me together, Amanda wouldn't be able to bother us." Josh said with a smile.

I thought of the idea for a second, but then I remembered my family. My little sister, and my parents. I couldn't leave them behind. What would I even ask my parents? "oh hey mom can I runaway with my boyfriend?" doubt she'd let me. I guess it's worth a try, I mean I can always go visit them.

I realized Josh was still waiting for my answer. 

"That could work, I'll have to ask my parents first." I smiled. 

Josh smiled, then protectively put his arms around me. 

The hug was interrupted by my phone vibrating. I pulled away and giggled. I knew that this must be Amanda. Who texts me at 1:00 at night? I hesitantly turned on my phone, and Jessica's name popped up. I felt a sign of relief wash over me. That's when I remembered that I had to sneak out of the house to go see Josh! Shit! My parents will be furious! Not to mention my curfew on weekends is 12. I didn't want to leave Josh, but I knew I had to. For some reason, I began to feel incredibly dizzy. Suddenly, my mind started spinning and I looked over at Josh in a panic. Josh suddenly disappeared, and was replaced by millions of black dots, leading into darkness. The last thing I heard was Josh call my name, and then everything was gone. Everything but the darkness.

It felt like hours, before I regained my vision. Josh was beside me, worried as ever. It was freezing outside now. "Josh." I managed to choke out.  

"I'm right here." he said, brushing the hair away from my face.  

"Are you alright? You passed out." Josh's eyes met mine.
