Alive Again

Chapter 5

**Grace's P.O.V**

I woke up forgetting I broke up with Josh, that is until I got a look of myself in the mirror. My hair was a mess, and makeup was smeared all over my face. I checked my cellphone just incase Amanda had texted me again. Nothing.  

*if you're heart wears thin, I will hold you up and I will hide you when it gets too much, it'll be right beside you, nobody will break you* 

I dropped my cellphone. I forgot that my ringtone was still "Beside You". Matt was calling me. I tried my best to compose myself.

"Hello?" I said. 

"Grace?" Matt said, sounding confused. 

"Yes..?" I replied. 

"Did you by any chance break up with Josh?" Matt said hesitantly. 

I gulped before responding, but Matt beat me to it.  

"I walked into his room this morning and found Amanda half naked with him in bed.." Matt said trailing off at the end. 

"What..." I couldn't believe what Matt had just said. 

"Did you break up with him?" Matt repeated. 

I couldn't bring myself to answer him. 

"You did didn't you?...." Matt said. 

I lost control, and was in tears. 

"I had to Matt!"  

"Why did you have to? You two were so in love? I don't get it!" Matt replied. 

"I..can't tell you...not now at least.." I mumbled. 

"Can I come over there? Then we can talk, I mean if you want to." Matt asked. 

I sniffed, then replied,"Okay.."  

"I'm on my way." Matt said then hung up.

Since Matt was coming over and I didn't want him to see me like this, I had a quick shower and straightened my hair. I put on a tank top with some shorts but decided not to risk putting on any makeup. Soon there was a knock at my door. Sure enough it was Matt.

As soon as Matt took a step through the door, I couldn't help but throw my arms around him. Matt looked at me confused.

I got close to Matt and whispered," Amanda said that if I didn't break up with Josh, bad things would happen."  

"When did she talk to you?" Matt said. 

"Shhh..not so loud! She texted me..." I whispered. 

"She's been threatening you?!?" Matt whispered. 

I nodded, continuing,"So now Josh and Amanda are back together?"  

I looked at the ground, the Matt sighed. 

"He claims that he don't know how Amanda got into his room." Matt breathed. 

"Well..I believe that, mostly because Amanda would do something like that." 

Then I remembered something.
