Chapter 10

**Josh's P.O.V**

"What the fuck was that all about?" I heard Amanda say.

"You used me.." Chris growled.

"What?" Amanda said confused.

"You used me so you could get revenge on your ex." Chris said.

"I didn't use you...i'll even make it up to you if you want." Amanda said getting closer.

"That's real cute Amanda. You use me and then try to make it up to me with sex? That won't work this time." Chris said.

Amanda seemed taken by surprise by Chris' response then said,"Fine. If you aren't going to help me, you now become the enemy." she growled.

"Bitch, get out of my room." Chris said.

Amanda stayed silent.

Chris laughed,"You really have no idea what I'm capable of. I can find Josh and Grace and tell them that all of this was a lie. But more importantly, I can kill you. I can report you to the police for everything you've done to make their lives hell. This time, I'm not bailing you out."

Amanda glared at Chris shocked,"If you rat me out you come down with me."

Then she left, slamming the door.

I heard Chris swear under his breath then came and opened the closet door.

"So you helping me...you were serious?" I asked while stepping out of the closet.

"Yes. I never should have trusted that bitch, I'm sorry I helped her and made you and Grace go through all of this. Speaking of which, where is Grace?" He asked.

I gulped remembering what had happened. Don't cry Josh. Don't show him you're weak. You don't know if you can trust him yet. Stay strong.

"Some idiot threw her into the pool and she hit her head on the side and now she's in the hospital." I hissed.

"What idiot are we talking about here?" He asked.

"His name's Derek. A little shorter than me, brown hair, blue eyes." I answered.

I still didn't know why I was telling Chris all of this. That little "show" Amanda and Chris just put on could have been staged. This could all be a trap. When I go see Grace in the hospital later, if she's still alive, I'll tell her everything, get her opinion on all of this. She always knows what to do, and who to trust.

"Wait a second..." Chris said.

"That's exactly what the guy who Amanda was about to have sex with looked like!"

I froze for a minute.

"Wait...so Amanda is sneaking around with Grace's ex now? why?" I asked.

It made no sense...Its not like me or Grace would care.

"She thinks that when Grace finds out she'll be pissed off or something." Chris said.

"She could care less about her ex." I said.

There was a moment of silence when suddenly Chris broke it.

"Is Grace alright?"

"I.....I don't know." I said holding back tears.
