"Hey Daehwi! Look at the new cat I got today!" Daniel exclaimed in glee as he flicked through several photos in his phone gallery. I patiently waited until he found the picture. I looked at the ball of fluff in awe.

"Aw that's adorable."

"Yeah she's called Rooney."

"But isnt she a-"

"Seongwu, look at my new cat!"

"... girl..."

Daniel didn't even let me finish my sentence as he ran off to Seongwu who was on the other side of the classroom. I felt a little angry that he just left mid- conversation but I just dropped the feeling. It happens all the time anyway right?

I looked at the clock and it was already nine. The teacher should be coming in soon.

I walked over to my table and sat down, observing the other students in the room to pass time. I mentally groaned when I remembered the massive project that the teacher would be announcing today.

"For the next three months, you guys will work in groups of ten and produce a song, whether it be using sequencing or real instruments. Not only do I expect a full song, I want you to make a choreography to go with it. You must not forget that this is your final school project and this will be 60% of your final grade."

Isn't ten people too much? I'm actually quite excited for this, I mean, composing is in my blood. I will really make this all worth while.

"Since this class has twenty people, you will be divided into boys and girls. Please get into your groups now and begin. You won't have any lessons during this project. If you need anything I will be at the desk." Miss Lee left to go sit down.

Well this shouldn't be too difficult. I'm friends with all the boys in the class, we're all friends with each other.

"Come on guys, let's do this okay!" Jaehwan yelled. I saw the girls on the other side of the room glare at him in annoyance and I laughed quietly to myself.

"Woojin you can choreograph."

"Why me Jisung hyung?"

"Because you're the dancer."

Yeah and what are you gonna do?"

"Come on guys let's decide this fairly." Minhyun took control over our discussion. Thank God he did.

"So, who wants to compose?"

I raised my hand, along with Jaehwan and Minhyun.

"Three people. That should be good. However, we need the other seven of you to write lyrics, especially you rappers. Got that?"

They all agreed and we brainstormed a few ideas like themes. Afterwards, we split into our two smaller groups.

There was no progress at all with the composing. It was really awkward because Jaehwan kept bugging Minhyun so I just sat in front of them, doing nothing.

"Minhyun hyung I'm hungry. I want to eat tteokbokki." the elf boy complained.

"Well its not like I'm gonna buy you food. It's not like you're broke either Jaehwan."

"Hyung my singing has gotten better this week- how's this." He sang an ad lib but Minhyun just ignored his presence. 

What should I do? I just stared at my empty notebook There wasn't much I could do, since I always composed with my instruments. I could ask Miss if i could go to one of the music rooms.

I approached her table.

"Miss Lee, please can I go to a practice room?"

"Oh Daehwi, of course. Remember to lock to door afterwards."

"Yes Miss."

I walked back to the table with the other two

"Hyungs, I'm going to the practice room."

No reply.

I didn't even bother trying because I knew they wouldn't want me to disrupt their chat. I quietly slipped out of form and headed straight to the room.
