I looked on my phone and saw that my favourite group was going to have a new comeback! That was one of the highlights of my year. I really loved Seventeen after all- especially cute, li'l, talented Woozi. No one else really seemed to be into kpop like I did. The others seemed to prefer more electro house music by DJ's like Zedd. Maybe its because it's better to dance to. I do love all types of music, but it would be nice if someone also had the same interests as me.
With the idea of Seventeen in my mind, I walked to school and once I arrived I saw Seongwoo. I really wanted to tell someone about the comeback but I think he may be one of the last people I would go talk to out of everyone. His loud personality intimidates me, but I'm sure I've seen him glare at me before, like that day Daniel was telling me about his new cat. I said hi to him to be polite and I unpacked by belongings for the day.
It's already been two weeks into the project but the only thing my group has is the chord pattern I made. I don't think the dance group understood the fact that they can't create choreography without music. They always just talk and mess about, the teacher doesn't even tell them off. The only one that is going to be screwed at this rate is me because this is not an individually marked project. I'll have to try and knock some sense into them someday. No, it will be today.
"Guys." I called with a quiet voice. It was difficult enough to muster the courage to speak but that wasn't enough. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Guys!" They didn't seem impressed when I interrupted them and it created a bit of fear in me. I had to do this one way or another, its literally now or never. "It's been two weeks and all we have is a chord pattern. I'm not being an ass or anything, but we need to get everything together. Without a song, the dancers cant choreograph, so we have to get work done, and you dancers need to start writing your raps." I looked down, afraid to see their reactions.
"You know what guys, he's actually right. we need to get ourselves into gear because without this passing grade, we'll never see our graduation." I heard a voice agree. Looking up, I saw Jihoon standing in front of me. "Don't worry Dae, we'll get this done, fighting!" he made a fist. I relieved that I wasn't ignored for once. In fact, this was the most attention I had ever received from them in these last two years.
The other boys started to take out their pencils and papers and Someone tapped my shoulder so I turned around.
"Come sit here Daehwi, Jaehwan's already working on a melody." Minhyun told me. I nodded and followed him.
Taking my seat to the left of the other two, I set my notebook and pen on the table. Minhyun and Jaehwan poured out all their ideas into the conversation and I furiously marked them in my notebook.
