Two weeks since Jinyoung arrived and it was already the day before the performance. I was nervous yet beyond excited at the same time.

I was practicing the dance in my room when I remembered that I didn't know what to wear tomorrow. No one fold my anything about it- not even at school. How typical of them.

Scooping my phone off the desk, I scrolled to the group chat we shared. I hadn't messaged them for a while. I asked them what the plan was and set my phone down again, resuming the practice where I left off.

It wasn't until mom called me down for dinner that I saw the time and realised it was already eight in the evening. I checked my phone but as I expected, no reply.

It wasn't until an hour later when I checked my phone again and I ended up having a small conversation with Jinyoung instead. He had been trying to get me to interact more with the others but it was difficult to do so when I always made situations awkward and felt so distant with them. I appreciate the effort though.

Before going to bed, I looked one last time, hoping that at least one person would reply, but not a single soul could be spotted. Why are they like this?

Taking a random guess, I packed an all black outfit and prayed that this was what they wanted.

It was not what they wanted.

Showing up to the changing room with the rest of the guys in it, I looked around. But when my eyes ran over the endless collection of denim in their hands and on them, I panicked - a lot. I didn't want to be yelled at but I did ask them. I wanted to hide. To get out of this dilemma. But I had to be brave.

"Uh, guys. I don't have denim." I boldly announced. They all looked at me weirdly and everything went silent.

"Aaah what are we going to do now? We're gonna fail!" Omg Seongwu exclaimed. Thanks. As if he couldn't make the situation any worse.

"Wait a moment." Minhyun calmly announced. We still have some time before our performance, I'd say about 30 mins? Bae Jinyoung isn't here yet - Daehwi, why don't you ask him to bring some?"

Nodding, I hastily texted my friend and, like the saviour he was, he brought the clothes.

"Thanks a bunch. I'll buy you lunch sometime so don't forget okay?"

"Definitely." Jinyoung smiled.

I slipped into the jeans and threw the jacket on, relived that the problem was resolved.

"Boys, you're up next." Miss Yoon announced and we climbed the stage in a line.

Everything went smoothly from then and all my automated singing and dancing flowed out from me. It wasn't till I heard the girls clapping that I realised it was finished. We bowed and exited. All the boys huddled and left me out so I stood there weirdly.

"Daehwi, what are you doing?" Jisung asked. "Come here." He gestured and I followed. Everyone had put their hands in the centre so I put my own hand on top. We cheered, throwing out arms in the air and gave celebratory clap.
