Twenty Two 》 The "date" begins

Hae Soo's POV:

I woke up a few hours later and decided to get up and for some reason, I felt like fancying myself up. Even though it wasn't exactly a date, I still wanted to look at least presentable to the cute boy who was to be in my apartment later. I changed my outfit to a light grey dress that went to my knees along with some black leggings and some black flats. I then reapplied my makeup as quickly as possible since I was kind of impatient. I got ready as quick as I could manage to before I checked the time. It was now 8 pm and I had no idea when Sicheng was coming over so I sat down on the couch and looked at my phone. I opened his messages and stared at them for a second. I wanted to text him and ask him when he was coming over but at the same time, I didn't want to seem desperate.

All in all, I decided to exit out of the messages and turn off my phone, not sending any messages. As soon as I did, I heard a slight knock at the door, startling me. I slowly got off the couch and went to the door. I looked through the keyhole to see someone standing in black skinny jeans but I couldn't see anything above the waist so I stood up and fixed my hair before sighing and opening the door. "Listen, I don't know what you want..." I started to say before I stopped, seeing an extremely cute boy looking back at me. "Hae Soo..." the deep voice spoke. "Sicheng..." I said as I blushed. He was wearing black skinny jeans and a white shirt with a leather jacket over it.

He looked so hot that I wanted to throw myself off a cliff. I was speechless, not knowing how to break the ice as we just stared at each other before he decided to speak first. "You look really pretty" he said before he looked at the floor, blushing a little. "You too" I said without thinking. "I mean! You look handsome!" I said quickly before I let out an awkward laugh. Sicheng laughed before he spoke "Thank you Hae Soo, can I come in now?" He said as he smiled lightly.

"Yes of course" I said as I snapped out of it, gesturing for him to come in. He stepped past me before stopping and turning in my direction as I closed the door. "What is it Sich-" I spoke before I was silenced by his lips slamming against mine desperately. I didn't dare take my lips away from his as he put his hands in my hair and dragged me closer to him. This kissing continued as he backed me up to the door and slammed me against it. He deepened the kiss before I realized that this wasn't right, we had other things to worry about. Even though he was slightly turning me on, the timing just wasn't right. With that, I pushed him away lightly, earning a confused look from him.

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked as he wiped my lip gloss from his lips. "Sicheng, we are trying to prove that nothing happened at that party and that I am not pregnant. We don't exactly have time for this right now." I said as I looked away from his gaze. "Oh, you're right. Sorry, I just got distracted. So what are we going to do?" He said as he walked to the couch and sat down while I followed. "We need to somehow get the whole school to realize how much of a liar, Mi Na is. I know she is the one who started the rumor." I explained.

"It honestly doesn't surprise me. She always seemed so fake when she came around the fraternity and she always talked about how much she hated you and I wanted to say something but I would get in trouble. I am sorry that I never told her off." He said as he sighed and looked down at his shoes. "It is okay Sicheng. I understand that you couldn't say anything. What matters is that you never bullied me like they did. I understand that they tried to change you Sicheng but in truth, you are nothing like them. You are an amazing guy, you are so sweet, cute and funny and I want to get to know you so much better and get you away from their lifestyle." I said, getting all of my feelings off my chest.

"You really think all of that stuff." He spoke as he began to blush. I looked at him in the eyes before I spoke again. "Yes Sicheng, I really do believe that." I said before he pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back tightly as I enjoyed his warm embrace and the smell of his cologne that lingered in the air. "Thank you, for giving me a chance." He spoke softly into my ear as he continued to hug me.

"You're welcome Sichengie, but we are still not dating you know." I said. He breathed for a moment as if he was carefully thinking of what to say next before he whispered once again in my ear. "Then, will you go out with me Hae Soo-ah?" He spoke, making my heart feel like it was about to explode into a thousand pieces. I waited a moment for my heart to calm down before I whispered back. "Yes, I will go out with you Sichengie." Causing him to hold me tighter and bring me even closer to him which seemed impossible.

Soon, he pulled away and kissed me on the cheek before speaking again, in a low, angelic yet deep voice. "We can take things slow Hae Soo and I will make sure you are treated right but there is something I have to tell you..."
