Hae Soo's POV:

The library wasn't very far from the tech building so it didn't take us too long to get there. But to our surprise, it seemed very dark for there to be people in there. "I hope they haven't went home for the night." I said lightly, while gripping Sicheng's hand tightly. "Yeah, me either." He agreed as we quickened our pace, walking up the steps and to the front doors of the library. I sighed in relief as Sicheng pulled on the door and it actually opened. I figured that with my luck, the library would be closed too for some reason. He let go of my hand and gestured me to walk in first as he held the door for me.

"Thank you Sicheng." I said as I bowed to him and walked ahead, into the dimly lit space. I jumped slightly as I heard the door shut behind me before Sicheng laced his fingers with mine again. "Don't worry, I am here." He said in my ear, making my heart flutter. "I am glad you are." I said quietly. He kissed me on the cheek before he started to walk into the dimly lit lobby and to look for Mark as he dragged me along with him.

Mostly all I saw was darkness and a few lamps were left on but it seemed like the place had been left alone for the night. Not many people went to the library at this time of night anyways. The entire bottom part of the library was nothing but the same scenery over and over as we found no one in any of the isles or at the tables. "Let's go upstairs." I suggested, having no hope on finding anyone where we were at. "Yeah, good idea." Sicheng agreed as he began walking to the stairs while gripping my hand protectively. The stairs winded all the way to the second floor which was equally as creepy due to the dimly lit area around us and it was really quiet.

Until I heard laughter coming from somewhere. "Sicheng, did you hear that?" I said. He looked at me and nodded before trying to listen carefully, wondering where the noise was coming from. "Let's go check that room over there." I said as I pointed towards the big room at the end of the floor. Without a word, he listened and began walking towards the room with me by his side. The laughter and conversations we had heard bits of moments before drew closer and closer as we walked towards the big room.

As we got close, I began to see lamps turned on in the room and people sitting at a few of the tables in the middle. I instantly started looking for Mark, hoping he would be among the boys as we walked into the room. We quickly earned their attention as they all turned to look at Sicheng and I standing in the doorway holding hands. I didn't recognize any of them until I saw a familiar nerdy boy stand up. It was Mark Lee. "Hae Soo..." he said excitedly before his voice trailed off as he saw Sicheng holding my hand. "What are you here for?" He said seriously as he sat back down with his arms crossed, seeming disappointed.

"Look, we need your help with something so can we talk to you in private?" Sicheng spoke up bravely. I squeezed his hand tighter and leaned my head against his shoulder as I awaited Mark's answer. "Why should I help you? You are one of them. And why are you even with someone like him Hae Soo?" Mark said as he shook his head in disappointment. "Mark, Sicheng isn't one of them anymore okay, he is different and I am with him because we are dating now and you need to respect that." I said as I stood my ground, defending Sicheng.

I noticed him smile lightly from the corner of my eye as I spoke up for him. His smile always seemed to be able to make my heart flutter without effort. "Just please, do this for me okay?" I said as I beamed at him, hoping he would have some mercy. He sniffled as he looked around at the other boys in the room while he thought of what to say. "Alright but I will only give you a few minutes. Guys, can you please step outside?" Mark said as he stood up and began walking towards Sicheng and I.

The boys quickly listened and left the room, shutting the door behind them as we waited for Mark to speak. "Now tell me why you are here?" He said in a light tone, trying to keep his cool. "We need to find a way to expose Mi Na for what she has done and I...we need your help doing so." I explained the best I could, hoping he would see the desperation in my eyes. "How can I help you?" He asked. "You know a lot about technology so we figured you could set me up with a wire or something and help us record Mi Na admitting her lies so we can broadcast it to the whole school and expose her for the snake she is." I said, making him take a moment to process what I had just said.

"So you want me to help you bring down the most popular girl on campus?" He questioned, trying to make sure he was on the same page. "Exactly, and I trust you and I asked you because we are sort of friends I guess so I figured you would be a good samaritan and help us out." I said as I gave him a light smile. "What about him?" He said as he gestured to Sicheng. "He was actually kicked out of the fraternity because of all of this but he is a good person, trust me, he is nothing like those other boys. He even hates Mi Na too." I said as I looked to Sicheng and back towards Mark.

"So what do you say?" Sicheng said lightly. Mark took a deep breath before carefully answering the question. "When should we get this plan started?"

Hey guys, thanks so much for reading! Sorry it took me so long to update, I got really sick and I have been busy. I hope you enjoyed this update. What do you think of Mark working with Hae Soo and Sicheng to bring Mi Na down? ~winney-
