Castiel Novak worked at the Tavern Bar, in a small town in the middle of nowhere. He was serving a lady with red hair and dramatic makeup when a group of high school boys came in. They were all laughing as they took a seat in a booth. When Castiel received the copy of the woman's receipt it had her phonenumber on it, when he looked back at her she winked and gave him a smile. This made Cas feel uncomfortable. He was into guys’, not girls’. He politely smiled back as she left. He then turned to the next table, the group that just walked in. He walked towards them;
“Hello, My name is Castiel. What would you like to drink?” He said while passing out the menus.
One of them with a wicked voice answered,
“I would like a hot cup of coffee with sugar and creamer in it, as for the rest of them, I'd say they want a cold water.”
They all nodded in agreement except for one. This one was different, from what Cas could tell. He had green eyes and a rough look that looked great on him, in Cas' opinion. He wanted a beer instead of water. Cas nodded and wrote all of the orders down then said he would be right back with their drinks.
When he returned they were all laughing and staring at him, he didn't understand why so he looked himself up and down to check and see if anything was out of place, nothing was. As he passed out the drinks, the one they called 'Crowley', the one with the wicked voice, who they called 'Crowley', called Cas over to see his coffee.
“Is there something wrong?” Cas asked looking closely at the cup to see what could possibly be wrong. Just as he said that, Crowley splashed the fresh coffee in Cas' face and like a domino effect the others threw their waters at him. Cas stepped back only to slip in the puddle of water and coffee andfall on the floor. Then Crowley got up while laughing and pulled out somemoney.
“This is for the drinks, and here's a tip for making it so funny.” He said as he tossed the coins at Cas, who was holding his face in pain and struggling to take a breath.
As the entire group left, Cas slowly tried to get up, surprised to be helped by one of the members of the group. It was the one with the green eyes. He knelt down next to Cas and Cas stared at his eyes until he finally said something.
“Hey, umm are you okay? What they did was not cool and I'm sorry. My name is Dean.”
To Cas, his voice was like heaven and he just wanted him to keep talking. It took a few seconds for Cas to realize he was talking to him and when it hit him he pulled out his inhaler. He had asthma bad and he was running low on the amount left in his inhaler, it was incredibly low. He shook his inhaler as hard as he could but there's just none left. That is when Cas began to panic. What was he going to do? He couldn't breathe and his heart rate was increasing the more he looked at Dean.
Dean saw the trouble and panic in Cas' eyes and quickly reached into his pocket and pulled out a brand-new inhaler, one that belonged to his brother but he had plenty more and he was sure his brother wouldn't mind since he was technically saving someone's life. As Cas began to calm down and breath again,
“Thank you, Dean. I'm so sorry,” he said as he handed the inhaler back but Dean refused it.
“You can keep it, by the looks of it, you need it. Plus I have more at home.” He smiled.
This made Cas' heart skip. Dean stood up and Cas did the sameonly to become really lightheaded and fall onto Dean's chest.
“Woah!” Dean said as he caught Cas. Cas backed away as fast as he could in his embarrassment.
“I am so sorry!” He said as a blush crossed his face.
“ Hey, it's fine, are you okay?” Dean said while looking straight into Cas' eyes.
“Yeah, I thi-” He was cut off by the ring of the bell that signals when a person comes inside. He immediately turned to see Sebastian, his boyfriend.
“Hiiyaaa!” He said smiling at Cas opening his arms wide until he noticed Cas' clothes. His smile faded into a frown as he dropped his arms in disgust,
Dean just stared at them for a second before being noticed by Sebastian. Sebastian gave Dean a glare then whispered something into Cas' ear. Cas’ face went pale.
“Uhmm, this is S-Sebastian, and Sebastian this is Dean, right?” He stuttered, looking at Dean to make sure he got the name right.
Dean noddedhis head and held out a hand for Sebastian to shake.
“Hey.”
Dean could tell that Sebastian made Cas uncomfortable just by the way Cas had tensed up when he walked in. Sebastian just looked at him and grabbed Cas then walked to the counter and whispered a bit. Dean could tell that this Sebastian guy was not very happy to see him for some reason. Dean stood there then decided it wasn't worth staying out too late since it was already 9:46 pm.
“Well I'm gonna leave. It was nice meeting ya.” He waved then walked out the door.
Cas stood there and smiled as he watched him leave. Sebastian grabbed his chin forcefully and faced it towards him.
“Hey I was talking to you, damn it! You need to start listening to me and stop flirting with other men!” He said as he slapped Cas' face and made him stumble back a bit. Cas only gave him a blank face in return.
“Ughh! Lets get out of here! This place always stinks and you need a shower, I mean look at yourself! You reek of coffee and you look horrible but I mean when don't you! You need to get to the house before anyone sees you, and you’re going to take the back roads and alleys so people don't see you, okay?” Sebastian said as he pulled Cas out of the building, as if he was pulling an unwilling dog. Cas looked up at him and said,
“Why? What is wrong with me walking home with you?”
This just got him thrown onto a brick wall with Sebastian's forearm up on his throat.
“Don't you dare question me! Now do as I say or so help me you will get it!” He said loud enough for people across the street to hear but they didn't care. Cas just nodded his head as Sebastian released his grip and walked off into a car filled with other people. Cas just looked down and cursed himself for questioning Sebastian, he knew not to but it still slipped. As he began walking down the alley by the Tavern,a couple of men jumped out and pinned Cas to the alley wall.
