Four: Reunion

AMARYLLIS' POV:

I stared at those rushing towards me, standing stiffly in my spot.

The first one to reach me was Etti with his long legs and he immediately scooped me up into a hug and pressed me against his chest. I breathed in heavily and I felt tears escape my eyes as I heard him sniffling as his nose nuzzled into my hair.

"Puppy has been missed... Not the same without you here." He placed me down and I was quickly sandwiched in-between my dad and Lucian. The two were sobbing as they clung on to me and myself being the most emotionally stable on there, I comforted them.

"D-Daddy missed you soooo much princess! I thought you left me with the witch... I didn't want to lose you as well as your mama!" Lucian nodded in agreement and the two continued to hold on to me with inhuman strength.

I was trying to hold in my tears, they hadn't seen me in a couple years compared to the few weeks/months I hadn't seen them.

After a good half-hour of hugging and crying, they let me go and Scorpio and Aries immediately replaced them.

Scorpio pressed my face into her chest and what I got was a face full of boobs. It wasn't as suffocating as I had originally thought it would be and was somewhat comforting. Aries pressed himself against my back and I felt his horns scrape gently along my skin as a few water droplets landed on my bare neck.

"You were gone Amaryllis... You were gone from this realm! We couldn't even get a trace of your position and that was because you had somehow left the entire world! And when you came back down to us, I felt a jolt in my heart as the empty void that appeared when you left patched itself back up!" Aries' words were muffled by my clothes and I sighed, contemplating telling them about Arty.

'I wouldn't suggest telling them just yet, it puts you in too much danger. Humans are greedy and would be willing to do many bad things to get what they want, especially when it relates to gods. The people around here mostly have darkness in their hearts and even if they didn't, darkness can always appear from nowhere.'

Scorpio nodded on with Aries words, resting her cheek on my hair as she continued to squeeze me.

"We missed you lots, no one can replace you." The purple-haired scorpion showed a rare moment of vulnerability as the three of us embraced.

After a while, the two straightened, coughing and rubbing their eyes to go back to their tough looks. I chuckled

Big Brother came up to me with open arms and we hugged. He looked tired but he was definitely less touchy-feely than the others, probably having his mannerisms as Emperor still deeply ingrained inside him.

He ruffled my hair, smiling down at me.

"Missed ya little one."

Eshai's brother came up and greeted me politely, headmaster Dusquarr having a perverted look on his face as he welcomed me back.

Behind them was Eshai.

His golden eyes bore into me and he opened his arms as wide as he could go. 

"Come here kitty."

Something urged me to go into them and I took a running leap, wrapping my legs around his waist. He stumbled back a bit before letting out a deep chuckle and he quickly stabilised, supporting me with one arm as he stroked my hair with his other.

I buried my face in his chest, not looking up.

"You're not allowed to leave me again, got it kitten? You're mine. I said this years ago and I will forever stand by it."

Now that he mentions it, I did remember when he said that when I was only a toddler. That was what caused my first experience with a fairy and the first (but certainly not last) paedophile to appear.

It had been so long since then but I still remember it crystal clear. It was one of those memories that are pushed to the back of your mind but they still remain as if it happened yesterday.

My memories with Eshai all were like that actually.

He flicked my forehead, causing me to look up and see his smirking face.

"What's that fat Phoenix chick doing glaring at me as if I stole his wife?" I forgot about the fat chicken. The chick in question sprung up from Orodon's shoulder, flapping its chubby wings till it landed on my hair once again.

It nestled before being set off by Eshai's chuckle.

SHRIEK! SHRIEK! SHRIEK!

I really wanted to cover my ears when I heard the angry chicken's shrieks.

I said to someone that'd I'd try to get the chapter out soon and although this is rather forced on my part, here it is as I promised.

Shitty and short reunion but I just wasn't feeling it this chapter, sorry.

I swear I'm getting less harem-y each time I update and more Eshai. ESHAI ESHAI ESHAI. This favouritism of mine isn't so good and I'm really starting to wonder if I should get those two married.

Instead of this fluffy book, I was quite literally writing some gay smut. I'm a great human being, I know. Future book maybe? It'd be yaoi and with multiple sexual partners btw. Idk it just seems fun to do and I can improve my smut skills which are really basic since I read more smut than I write (and by that I mean that was my first time writing smut)

Also, would you prefer me to do slow updates to the rewritten RIOGAPV Book 1 or the whole book being uploaded at once? Eshai's and Amaryllis' relationship will be built upon more in the rewritten in case you were wondering so this makes more sense with that than it does currently.

And Amaryllis should be 15-18 around now (if I'm going off my replanning she'd be 18 or so I believe)
