Suspicious Minds - Elvis Presley

Tatiana made her way to the DX; the place they said they would meet. Tatiana lifted and turned her wrist in order to read the time on her watch. She got there with a few minutes to spare, however Robbie was already stood there, leaning against his baby blue coloured pick up truck. She made her way across the road with a little jog, as she had managed to find a gap in the traffic.

"Hey, darlin'. You look amazing!" Robbie gasped, Tatiana doing a little twirl and laughing once she had gotten closer to him.

"Oh, you stop it this instant, Robert!" She playfully hit his chest, acting like a stereotypical girl.

"You're making me feel all underdressed! I knew I shoulda worn my church pants." He joked back, slapping his right knee with his hand. They both chuckled at each other's humour, before Tatiana spoke again.

"C'mon choir boy, lets go see this movie." She referred to his last joke, Robbie snorting and jumping into the truck, Tatiana making her way around the front and also getting in. Robbie created a conversation instantly, which Tatiana was grateful for.

"I heard you hang out with the Curtis' and their group?" It was more a statement than a question.

"Yeah, I just came from their house actually. Soda and Steve recognised the name as soon as I told them I was catchin' a movie with you." She nodded

"Ah, right. I like those guys, I've never really met any of the others, are they the same?" Robbie asked, referring to Soda and Steve's personality. She hesitated for a moment, thinking about each of their unique personalities and attempting to put them into a shortened sentence.

"Ponyboy and Darry, Soda's brothers are nice, and so are Two-Bit and Johnny. I'm not too sure about Dallas..." She faded off, Robbie looking towards her with furrowed brows.

"You think he's a bit dark and mysterious?" Robbie somehow made the actions with a free hand and crouching over, resembling some sort of mysterious being. She giggled, Robbie averting his eyes back to the road.

"Oh no, he's an ass, I know that." She nodded confidently. Robbie chuckled.

"I like your honesty, what do you mean then?" He pushed, not really understanding where she was coming from.

"I mean he can be so nice to me, and then the next minute he's just the most malicious person in the world." She tried her best to describe his "alter ego".

"Ah, right. So, you haven't had a very good history with him, I gather." Robbie added, a scoff erupted from Tatiana soon after.

"You can say that again."

They pulled into the drive in and watched whatever movie that came on. They talked throughout, however they weren't to interested in the grainy black and white images that were moving before them. They talked about home life, work life, life all together, laughing and joking also. About a quarter of the way through the movie, the sun began to set, creating a cotton candy pink sky mixed with a turquoise blue that loomed over them, a handful of stars scattering the sky. They were talking about the baseball season, when Tatiana noticed a few disruptive people strolling into the movie, sitting in the chairs before them.

She knew they hadn't been paying attention to the movie, but they kept as quiet as possible to stop themselves for disrupting others. It was just a natural form of respect.

"Is that Dallas?"

Robbie and Tatiana squinted his eyes to get a better view at the newcomers, and one of them was most certainly him.
