What?

"W-what do you mean by you saw my eyes turning gray?"

My curious eyes met Zero's determined burning eyes. His expression showing no sense of humour.

"I saw it in my own eyes. Your eyes were reflecting shades of gray, just like how our eye color changes when our augmentation starts."

"That means my injection already started it's work faster than ever."

Yugyeom steps forward towards Zero. He stares at him and then glances at me. He turns towards me then.

"Operative Seven , you should inform me if any other symptoms arise. Did you feel anything when you were helping Zero?"

"Yeah just a small headache."

"That's normal. I think somehow Zero's getting well is related to your power. Your species must carry healing power."

My species? It sounds really weird

"S-so what do I now?"

Yugyeom chuckles. Fixing his thick glasses, he grabs a notebook from his desk and a pen.

"I am writing down the symptoms here. You just have to inform me if you feel something. Actually I'm still kind of shocked how the injection reacted with your body so fast. Others take two or more days to arise the symptoms but you are quite exceptional, operative Seven."

All redness reaches to my cheeks.I usually feel uncomfortable when people compliments but when it's a handsome man like Yugyeom, I can't help but blush.

"O-oh, thank you?"

Yugyeom chuckles again to my awkward thank you. He shakes his head and glances at Zero.

"Operative Zero,I checked your reports and good to know that you will be dismissed this evening."

"Does he have any problems?" Nine asks.

"Apparently no. But he still needs to do a quick checkup tomorrow. So please clear your schedule tomorrow at 5, okay?"

He looks at his patient sitting on the bed. The latter nods and offers a smile out of gratitude.

"Oh operative Seven,you should also visit me tomorrow with Zero.I have some advices for you."

"Oh sure."

It feels still awkward to hear me as operative Seven

"Okay now operatives, please leave. He needs some rest."

Nine nods and thanks Yugyeom. I find this time to have a conversation with Zero.His eyes follow my stare as I sit in the seat beside his bed.

"Hey"

"Huh?"

"I am really sorry. I am the reason why you had this accident. Also thanks for saving me from that teenagers. I hope you get well soon."

He smiles, his corner of eyes curves. He shakes his head repeatedly.

"It was my d-duty. No need to thank me. Besides you always help me s-sorting out my thoughts. So I should thank you to."

I chuckle at his stuttering. Who knew this shy boy can fight with so much strength?

"Really?I helped you to sort your thoughts out. I am glad."
