S.C-1 : Special Chapter 1

Yoongi's POV

The sound of water dropping continues somewhere far away, strangely matching with the heartbeats of mine. The rover which behind us now got a lot of distant as we kept walking on forward.

"Turn on your augs.I hear something" Nine commands,his eyebrows forming into a curved line. I press the button behind my ear and my vision turns into a familiar blue. At once, my surroundings fill with informations by the augs.

"Hyung,look there" the younger Zero points out at our left,causing our visions to shift to the left. There were some people,a woman and a few hooded thugs that screamed of trouble.

"I don't think there's something happening there anyway" I shrug off, thinking probably some boy and girl thing happening there.

"Still,the woman looks in trouble" Zero tells,his eyes focusing on the scene,his eyes radiating a small light as he scans again and again.

We aren't here to be mother Teresa. We're here finding out clues about our client

Somehow I'm glad I didn't talk out my thoughts and made the guys feel bad about visiting the commotion.

Because that's where I met her first,
Y/N.

"I am Y/N but now's not the time for introductions."

"Tsk,I would agree with you if they were serious enough."

I eye out the new woman dressed in some sort of outer world,as if she wasn't from here. She had a strange gleam look in her as Zero helped her fight off the thugs.

I ignore and give a circle among the area,carrying out my objectives in finding clues.The area was a place for thugs and the local people seemed to know about it as I saw fears in their eyes as I was passing by them, thinking I was some sort of thug too.

"You are familiar with the wastelands right?"

She nods

"Can you help us find a place?"

"Oh yes!Of course!"

A frown quickly appears and disappears in a second as I hear her enthusiastic voice,offering us help. All of us were surprised because not anybody answers to help in this busy city.Since our next destination is the wastelands,it would be more beneficiary to take someone who's familiar with it.

'She is strangely nice' thats what I thought as I watch her hopping in our rover.

She didn't look forced.Rather as if she's glad she could be our help.

"Nine,he had thirteen years of training. Besides what he has to do is just protecting his leader.He can't even do that."

"Everyone makes mistakes no matter how experienced he is.Its worth that he at least tried his best."

I chuckle inside. Being brave huh?

At first I won't lie,she was annoying. She had a weird insecurity around herself for coming from the wastelands. It felt so pathetic to see her staring at her shoes when she felt intimidated by my presence.Like why? Why is she so insecured?Can't she hold her head high?
