T H I R T Y - T W O

The warm sunshine makes my eyes flutter open and the sight of a familiar window along with the strong scent of home relaxes my inner self. As soon as my eyes adjust with the surrounding,I realize I was sleeping in my room all this time.

Incidents that happened began to come one by one in my thoughts and I immediately get up on my feet as I remember somebody entering the mission area.

But what happened next?

Why can't I remember anything?

After locking my room down,I walk through the familiar corridor,the artificial lights dancing around the walls and reflecting back a tired myself. I stop on my tracks as a small headache begans making its way on my head.

The door of the corridor opens by itself. I glance back to see the owner and he immediately gives me a smile.

"Are you okay?"Eight asks, his voice soft and concerned. I nod in return.

"I'm okay but what happened with the pendrive?"

"Ah, that... it got resolved" he answers and I furrow my eyebrows. He notices my expression and tries to give me a reassuring smile.

"Three already resolved this by himself. You can talk to him. Now go and meet with them upstairs in our meeting place. I'm off"he shows me a peace sign, his eyes turning pink in an instant and I understand that he was off for a mission.

"Yeah,good luck"I mutter tiredly with a smile and he waves at me finally and his figure gets blurred as he goes far and far before disappearing. PHASE members all were hard working and I am the only one here who's slacking off without doing any work properly.

Honestly I feel very bad now

"I better go to downstairs."

The place seemed normal as usual. The people walking here and there with their phones or with any other electronic device. The elevator stops and the doors open as I have eye contact with two pair of eyes.

The two seemed to not expecting me as their mouths were a little out. Six was the one who gave me a smile first as he comes towards me.

"Hey you woke up?You could stay at bed!" I smile at his affectionate behaviour.

"I'm perfectly fine. What are you guys doing here? And Three,what happened to the pendrive?"

The other male stands up after giving a large sigh. Six moves away as Three walks towards me.

"You should listen to everything first before hanging out your call!"he snapped,scolding me like a mom as soon as he steps infront of me. I lower my head immediately, taking in his complains.

"You shouldn't do things before informing! Your performance today caused Nine and Four trouble!"he continues and I keep nodding but not really catching everything he was saying because he was talking too much fast.

"I was solving the codes of the real pendrive when you hung up the call! The code of the special pendrive was already done then all I had to do was transfer the files to the real one before they disappear! If you didn't attack him,then Four wouldn't have been hurt now!" he let's out and my eyes widen as a beat escapes my heart.

F-Four?He's hurt?

"What happened to him?" I ask,my concerned side hitting in.

"He fought with the intruder and got badly hurt. Apparently Nine reached there otherwise he could've died. He was outnumbered after all" his eyes flash sadness and Six sighs next to him. My breathing stops as I process every words he said.
