If you chose Jack or Nic to eat lunch with skip this chapter!!!

If you chose Finn, enjoy :)

I look around and see Finn walking towards me.

"I'm sorry Nic, I actually have plans for lunch." I let go of his hand and smile.

"Not a problem! Catch you next time!" He insists. I nod at him smiling a bit. Then I turn to meet Finn's eyes.

"Hey cowboy." I say to him. He tilts his head slightly.

"Cowboy?" He chuckles a bit. My cheeks turn a deep shade of pink.

"That's what we called everyone back at home." I say almost a little bit embarrassed. I bite on my lip to stop my cheeks from turning a brighter color.

I don't think it worked.

"I wouldn't use that often here if I were you." He laughs. We grab our food and sit down. I can't help but giggle a bit myself.

"I'll note that!" I say. We both share another laugh and then he starts telling me about his brother wanting to be an actual cowboy.

Jack sees me and runs over.

"Janie! What's up?" He asks plopping down next to me. He smiles at me and sees Finn. His smile fades from natural to awkwardly fake in a matter of seconds.

"Just chilling! Um Jack this is Finn!" I say. I am sure they already know of each other.

"Oh yeah hey Finn." He says. Finn has no smile on his face anymore.

"Hey Jack!" He says shoveling some food into his mouth.

"How was class!" Jack asks. His gleam in his eye was back.

"Really good! How was yours?" I say biting into an apple slice. He throws his head back to gesture how exhausted he is.

"It was Pe. Dodgeball on the first day. But that wasn't the best of it . It was the basketball team against the Pe class. I'm sure you could guess who won!" He starts.

Finn gets up to throw away his stuff and never finds his way back to the table. I hate the thought of it , but I try to ignore it by listening to Jack.

Finally is catches me from my escape. He catches me.

Freckles: next time just tell me you have a boyfriend thanks!

His words hit me like a brick. What does he mean boyfriend. I just talked to another guy. I didn't lead him on.

But I do definitely feel something for him.
