I wake up feeling a bit dizzy the next morning. I sit up and try to look around my room but my eyes were still squinty. The light seeping into my windows burned.

I get up and make my way to my closet, my eyes still half closed. I chose a simple t shirt. The only reason I chose it is for how soft it is. I then put on a pair of skinny jeans and add some vans.

I head to the bathroom and wash my face then add on a bit of makeup to look awake. I brush my fingers through my hair and toss it around a bit. There we go. Half presentable.

About half an hour later I find myself eating a bowl of captain crunch and looking through Instagram. A few follow requests and a new DM

Hays_maize008: Hey! Are you new around here? I saw you in my math class and thought maybe you needed a friend?

Me: that would be nice! I've met quite a few boys, but not any girls yet! And boys get super exhausting 😂

I respond. My phone buzzes not seconds later.

Curls: want a ride to school today? :)

Me: yes please!!

I continue to eat and watch Netflix for a few minutes.

Hays_maize008: great! We can meet up for lunch today then! By the way my name is Haylee Maizer. I'll meet you by the main doors of the cafeteria :)

Me: alright see you then! Oh by the way it's Janie.

Wyatt: Be there in five :)

I smile at my phone slightly.

Five minutes feels like a lifetime. Finally there is a knock at my door and I race to get it. I smile and tuck a piece of hair behind my ear as I seem him.

The handsome figure with curly hair and beautiful eyes. The one who's smile creates adorable little dimples that light up my life.

"Hey there. You ready?" He asks wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me into him. I wrap my own arms around his neck and wish he would never let go.

"Of course I'm ready! Let's get going!" I smile. He takes my hand and leads me to his car.

"How was your night last night?" He asked as he started his car back up.

"Oh it was great!" I reply looking at him. His hand is on my thigh pretty soon which sends a shiver down my spine.

"Good. And how'd you sleep?"

"Even better!" I insist putting my hand on top of his on my thigh. He drives carefully until we get to the school.

I get out of his car and gather my bag as I hear an unfamiliar voice call my name. I see a girl running towards me and Soon find myself being pulled into a hug.

"Oh it's so good to finally meet you!" She says pulling away. I smile a little.

"Haylee I'm guessing?" I giggle. She laughs and throws her head back.

"Oh my gosh! Yes! I am so sorry!" She says.

"Don't be! It's amazing to meet you too!" I say laughing. Suddenly I find a pair of arms wrapped around my waist.

"I've got to get going! See you in class." Wyatt says kissing my cheek slowly. All my muscles tense up and my heart beats so fast.

"Wow. Met a boy huh? How about has a boy on the first day." Haylee smirks when he leaves. I roll my eyes.

"Actually its a long situation. I actually met five boys." I say. Her eyes widen. Mine once again roll to the back of my head. "But I'm not dating any of them. I don't know if I even like any of them in that way!" I say
