They rode in a pack to Ben's house, Ben speeding ahead of them. They parked their bikes on Ben's lawn. Ben jumped off and ran into his house.

When Eddie stopped he fell off.

"Are you okay, Eds," Richie asked.

"Yeah, thanks," Eddie said when Richie helped him up. Richie brushed off his shorts. "I'm fine, Rich."

"Up, up cheerio, mate!" Richie pressed a quick kiss to his cheek.

Ben rushed into the room, shoving dirty underwear, magazines, and random objects into the closet. He stood, resting a hand on the closet door and the other on his hip.

Bev walked in first slowly examining the room. Everyone else followed behind, Richie and Eddie being the only ones talking.

"...I heard he has like a rollercoaster and a pet chimp. And like an old guy's fuckin' bones!"

"And like old guy's bones, yeah!" They stopped when they realized no one else was talking.

Stan squatted awkwardly with his hands on his knees near the dresser.

"Why do you squat like that," Gwen asked.

"Wh- wh-" Stan's stammering was cut off by:

"Woah, woah, woah!" Eddie said.

"Wow!" Richie breathed.

"Cool, huh?" Ben said.

"No, no, nothing cool. There's nothing cool," Richie disagreed.

Bill picked up a translucent map of Derry and held it to the light.

"Oh, this is cool. Wait no, it's not," Richie looked around Ben's walls covered in news articles.

"What's that?" Stan pointed to a article hanging with red markings.

"Oh that? That's just the charter for Derry Township," Ben explained.

"Nerd alert," Richie announced.

"No, actually it's really interesting. Derry started as a beaver trapping camp," Ben was cut off by Richie.

"Still is. Am I right boys?" Richie turned to Eddie, Gwen, and Stan. Gwen and Nyla snorted, trying to contain thier laughter. Stan just nodded, dissapointedly at them. Beverly looked at them, also shaking her head at the terrible joke.

Ben continued, "91 people signed that charter that made Derry but later that winter, they all disappeared without a trace."

"The entire camp?" Eddie shakily asked.

"There were rumors of Indians-"

"Native Americans," Nyla coughed.

"Ay," Mike said quietly.

"-Native Americans but no sign of an attack. Everybody just thought it was a plague or something but it's like one day, everybody just woke up and left. The only clue was a trail of bloody clothes leading to the well house."

"Holy-"

"Jesus, we need to get Derry an unsolved mystery," Richie commented.

Ben heard his door creak, looking to see that Beverly (of all people) found his huge poster of New Kids On The Block. She smirked and winked as he silently pleaded for her not to say anything.

"I don't know, maybe he's just trying to make some friends, Stanley," Richie's voice came clear from the overlapping chatter.

"Wh-where was the well house?" Bill asked.

"I don't know. Somewhere in town, I guess."

"No shit," Nyla and Gwen said quietly.

"Why?"

"Nothing," Bill said, looking at the many missing posters.
