Unbeknownst to Molly, they were walking--well Molly was limping--towards the creek.

"So, um... Bev...erly, where are we going, exactly?"

"To the creek! It's where my friends hang out. Hopefully, they're--or at least some of them are there."

"How many friends are in your group?"

"Uhhhh," Bev counted on her fingers, naming each one under her breath. "9, including me."

"Oh, uh, that's a lot...." Molly muttered.

MOLLY POV

Holy shit, this whole thing is weird. So first, I'm just minding my own damn business right, and then some kid with an ugly ass with a mullet throws a rock at me? And then my separated-at-birth twin helps me up? And now we're going to meet her friends called "The Losers"?

What the hell is going on?

This town seems weird, and I've only been in it for five minutes.

My family and I live in the town right over, but we're moving here for some reason? My parents say the prices are lower.

I decided to ride my bike over here to check it out, and weird shit is already happening.

When we reached the creek I saw four people. One of them was small, with tan-ish skin and freckles. He was wearing these tiny red shorts and a blue shirt.

Another had black hair and huge glasses. He was wearing a floral print button-up over a white t-shirt and khaki shorts.

The third one had perfectly spiraled hair that looked like noodles. He was wearing a light blue, collared shirt and darker blue shorts.

The last one had light brown hair. He was wearing a red, plaid flannel over a white t-shirt and jean shorts.

They looked like losers.

But who am I to talk?

"Bev! Wait... who's this?" the boy with big glasses asked.

"Hey, Losers," she greeted. "This is Molly Bell. Bowers threw a rock at her and now she's all bloodied up. But anyway, Molly, this is Richie Tozier, Eddie Kaspbrak, Bill Denbrough, and Stan Uris," she said pointing to each one.

I waved.

"W-w-why does s-s-s-she look so much l-l-like you?" Bill stuttered.

Both Bev and I shrugged.

"Cooool," Richie said. "Double time-"

"Beep beep, Richie," everyone said except for me. I leant up and whispered into Bev's ear:

"What does 'beep beep, Richie' mean?"

"Richie always makes jokes but they go too far some times, so we're basically telling him to stop."

"Oooohhh."

"C'mon, guys. Payphone. Let's call the rest of them."

"Any coins?" Stan asked. Everyone threw dimes at him. "Gee, thanks, guys," Stan said sarcastically.

We climbed up the hill leading to the creek. To the right, a couple of yards, there was a payphone.

GENERAL POV

Their payphone. They used it every time a few people were at the creek and the others weren't.

Stan dialed all the numbers, telling all of them to get to the creek immediately.

Molly heard the bikes before she saw them.

She looked towards the sound.

There were two boys and two girls quickly riding their bikes over to them.

The black boy had golden brown skin and hair cropped short. He was wearing a used-to-be-white grey t-shirt tucked into blue jeans with a belt.

The black girl had golden brown skin like the boy, her curly hair was pulled back into a poofy ponytail. She was wearing a lavender shirt and jean shorts.

The white boy was chubby with blonde/brunette hair. He was wearing a blue, stripped t-shirt and khaki shorts.

The last person, a hispanic girl with dark brown hair cut to her shoulders. She was wearing a loose, white blouse with jean shorts.

They stopped at the payphone.

"What's the emergency?" The black girl asked out of breath.

"There is no emergency," Richie said. "Noodle Head was just being dramatic."

"W-wait. Who's this?" The white boy asked.

"This is Molly Bell," Bev introduced.

"Long, lost twin?" The black boy asked.

"Nah, random girl I found," Bev replied casually. "Molly, this is Mike Hanlon, Nyla Jones, Ben Hanscom, and Gwen Sanchez."

"Weird," Gwen said.

"Wicked," Nyla said.
