A/N- bonjour y'all, sorry for the long wait. I had writer's block but alice_in_funerland and I came up with some headcanons and I gained a little inspiration. Welp, on with the story

Bev is so pretty, Bill thought. He was laying on his bed, drawing her with a red pencil in his sketchbook.

Georgie's disappearance still lingered in the back of his mind. It always did. Bill had one wish, and that was to find Georgie. Worst case scenario, he would find his baby brother's dead body. At least then, Bill wouldn't be left in the dark, still looking for Georgie.

When he decided to go to sleep, he slid the notebook to the side of his pillow. While slowly drifting off, the leak in his ceiling decided to drip again. The sound of droplets landing on Bev's hair woke him.

Goddamn it, he thought. Bill pushed the covers off, then himself out of bed. He quietly walked to the supply closet to get a bucket. As he was walking back to his room, the sound of a light switch flipping and the light of Georgie's bedroom reflecting off the wooden floor startled him. He put the bucket down and crept towards his brother's room. It was odd seeing the light on. It hadn't been on since the last time Bill went in there, which was two weeks ago.

Bill's hand reached for the Lego Turtle on Georgie's nightstand. He sat on the bed, reminiscing about when he had helped Georgie build it. He looked up, trying to hold back his tears, but gave in a second later.

He sniffed, vowing to find Georgie whether dead or alive. Then, he heard swift footsteps running in the hallway. He looked up abruptly.

.o.O.o.

"Hey... Stan?"

"Yeah, Bev, what's up?"

"Um... I know this gonna sound crazy but there's blood... everywhere and I don't know what to do."

"Wait, what? Are you okay?" Stan asked worriedly.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I- I'm okay. It's not my blood, but it's all over the bathroom," Bev answered shakily.

"Don't worry, we'll be over there in a minute."

"Okay... thank you."

Stan called everyone. Bill was at home, Richie and Eddie were at Richie's place, Gwen and Nyla were at Nyla's place, Ben and Mike were at Ben's place.

They began the trek to Bev's house.

"Hey, guys!" Nyla called. "Stan didn't tell me what happening, just to go to Bev's house immediately?"

They answered in variations of, "He didn't tell me anything, either."

Richie was rambling to essentially no one, but Eddie, Nyla, and Gwen answered occasionally.

When they arrived, Bev was sitting on the stairway.

"Oh, good." She ran down to greet them. "One of you needs to keep watch, if my dad finds a bunch of boys in our house, he'll kill me."

"Richie," said everyone except for him and Beverly.

"Fine! What the hell am I even supposed to do if her dad comes home?" Richie asked incredulously.

"Do what you're best at: talk," Stan said dryly.

"I'll wait with you, Rich," Nyla offered.

Richie shrugged. "Alright."

They waited until everyone trailed inside then sat on the steps.

"So what do you think happened?" Nyla started. Richie shrugged. "Stan seemed concerned..." she trailed off.

"You can look if you want," the boy suggested.

"I'll be back in a second," she said, standing up. As she walked up the stairs, she thought about how Richie seemed different. He was more mellow and less annoying than usual. She assumed that it had something to do with the other night and hoped that he would be back to normal soon.

After helping to clean up Bev's bathroom, the Losers made their way over to the quarry. They decided to try something new and take running starts to flip into the water. Mike and Nyla went first, doing a front flip and screaming the whole way down. Stan and Gwen went second, deciding not to flip and instead hold hands as they ran and jumped. Bev and Ben did front flips, Ben landing on his stomach with a loud smack. Bill went by himself, somehow doing two front flips and landing feet first. That left Richie, trying to convince Eddie to flip off.

"C'mon, Eds-"

"Don't call me that."

Richie continued as if Eddie hadn't spoken, "-it'll be fun."

"What if I dont jump far enough and crack my skull open on the rocks?"

Richie chuckled, "You won't! Come on."

"Why can't we do it normally?" Eddie asked.

"Because it's funner this way-"

"'Funner' isn't a word," he interrupted.

Eddie eventually jumped, his eyes shut while flipping.
