LANA

By the time we finished dinner the paparazzi were mostly gone. We started to walk back to the house and I got a call from Lauren. As I went to press the answer button it went to voicemail. "Hey I'm back at the house. The girls had more stuff to do and won't be back till later. Text me when you're on your way or if you need a ride." I sent her a quick text saying that we were walking back to their house right now and I would tell her if I needed a ride. "Hey can someone give me a ride to the 5H house in a little?" I looked at the group in front of me and Sam put his hand up. "I'll take you, the rest of those noobs are going to make a video." I smiled and thanked him. "So we'll be seeing each other a lot more." Colby said smiling down at Brendon and I. "Yeah when I'm not too busy with the girls and you're not to busy with those girls." I pointed to, obviously, the guys in front of us and he laughed. Damn that laugh and smile.

When we got back to their house, I went straight to Colby's room and made sure I had everything. I changed into leggings and a t-shirt. Sam came in and helped me carry my stuff down. "Oh before we go out I would recommend putting on a jacket or sweatshirt cause it's starting to get chilly." I nodded at him and went to open a bag. "Lana here take one of mine." Colby threw one at me and I put it on. I put a jacket on Brendon and let him go with Sam. Colby walked out to the car with me and gave me a hug. "I'll see you soon and bring your sweatshirt back." He chuckled and put the hood up. "Keep it. You look better in it than I do," I opened my mouth to say something but he pointed his finger at me, "Don't even try to argue with me either." I closed my mouth and hugged him again, but this time when we pulled away he kissed me. Of course I kissed him back and he smiled. Sam called my name, but then stopped and got back into the car. "That's my cue Colby." I pulled away and put my head on his shoulder. "I'll see you soon hopefully. You'll have to come over to swim with us soon." I nodded at him and got into Sam's car.

"You two act like you won't see each other for awhile." Sam said laughing. "Well Sam, think about it. The next time that I have a free day is in," I checked the calendar in my phone and counted the days, "almost 3 weeks. We aren't even dating, I shouldn't really be so upset." I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. I looked in the rearview mirror to see Brendon asleep. Makes sense it's almost 9 o' clock. "You'll be dating soon enough and you know it. Everyone does." He smiled at me and patted my head. He soon turned his camera on and put it on his dash. He talked for a little and then we had a dancing intermission. "God fucking damnit!" I said holding my forehead. He started laughing. "I jammed out to hard to my own music!" At this point he stopped laughing so hard and was just chuckling to himself. "You're ridiculous and now I see why Cory practically worships you." I smiled at him and looked back at Brendon. Still asleep. Good. I faced forward again and Sam and I just talked about our schedules and what it's like being famous, until we got to the house. That's when I remembered that I was supposed to text Lauren. Oops it doesn't matter. I grabbed Brendon and a bag and Sam helped me with the other bags. I knocked on the door and a random girl answered. "Who are you and what do you want?" She was rude. What the hell was she doing here? "Alissa, who's at the door?" Lauren came to the door, wrapping her arms around Alissa's waist and her eyes widened. I stood there with my mouth gaped open. "Lana you never texted me!" She said 'playing it cool'. "Oops." I gritted my teeth together and started to walk to Sam's car again and put Brendon back in his seat. "Sam can I go back to the house with you?" I asked him as I set Brendon in his seat. "But of course!" He laughed. Lauren ran down to where the car was and put a hand on my arm. I slapped her hand away and pointed at her. "Don't fucking touch me. Actually you know what? I'm not even mad. We were never anything, but I can't believe you brainwashed me to think that you actually liked me. Have a good night Lauren. When the girls get home you get to explain this mess to them." I put the last bag in the trunk and hopped in. Sam could tell I was frustrated and he just kept glancing at me as he drove. "Hey Siri, FaceTime Colby." He called out to his phone. "What's up?" Colby's face popped up on the screen and he looked at us confused. "Long story, but Lana's staying with us tonight. Something went down at her house, I'll let her explain later. Tell Devin if she wants she can have more Beebo and Devin time, I think Lana needs to go to sleep. If she doesn't want to I'll take him." They kept talking, but I zoned out. I leaned my head back on the seat and just didn't say anything. My eyes watered a little, but I told myself that I wouldn't cry. It took me awhile to realize, but we finally pulled into the driveway. Colby had met us outside and immediately hugged me. "You okay?" He said pulling away. I just nodded at him and watched Sam take Brendon inside.

COLBY

I knew she was lying when she tried to tell me she's fine. "How about we go to my room and you can tell me how you're actually feeling?" I whispered it so Sam didn't hear. She shook her head at me and tried to push away from me, but I grabbed her waist. "Lana I can see the hurt in your eyes and I hate it. Just tell me please?" She looked me in the eyes and broke down into tears. I picked her up and carried her to my room. I laid down with her on me in bed. I rubbed her back and soothed her until she could talk. She told me the whole story and I've never wanted to punch a girl so bad. How could Lauren lead her on?
